Great location. Within walking distance of all historic downtown, restaurants, shops and the town park. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Location is great! Short of walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock.

Property isn’t great, but also not horrible. We loved the location, but ridiculous we couldn’t get into our room until 6pm (check in by 4pm)...even if they are understaffed - no attempt was made to right this - people “plan” their vacations around stuff like this, and with 2 small children in the freezing cold, we had to go hang out in another hotel lobby until our room was ready. The other big problem here - you better hope your “neighbor” is quiet because the walls are paper thin and we could hear EVERYTHING all night...including the yapping dog they decided to bring that would bark at any noise it heard US make. I love pets, but if you know your dog barks excessively when you’re gone or WILL bark at noises - don’t bring it to a hotel where other people are trying to enjoy. The best thing this place has to offer is the location - it’s a short walk up the street to the Main Street in blowing rock...but plan to get to know your “neighbors” really well during your stay.

Noisy, dirty and non existent staff. Coffee in room service was a disgrace

Received a call that they would be there that day due to it being a Saturday for the check in process. Get there about 3:30pm to check in and all the doors were locked. Called the hotel and there was no one at that location. This girl tried to tell me where to go then a man appears from the laundry room and was like it’s the doors there. They were locked. Come to find out the keys to your rooms we in an envelope in side this tiny mailbox by the door. They should have said that when they called and not tell us they would be there. It’s the craziest thing I have seen.

There were used washcloths in the bathroom when when checked in. The toilet paper was stained with something blue dye. Had to request toilet paper several times. The tv did not work the entire time. Poor conditions . I would not recommend this place.

Check-in was efficient and friendly. The room was very clean and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The location is super convenient and about a 5-minute walk to restaurants and shops. I will definitely stay here again.

Pics were inviting, but rooms were just a line of old motel rooms that smelled like a dog kennel; my fault, it said "pets welcomed". Breakfast was minimal. Staff tried hard, but they had little to work with.

Clean and cozy hotel. Breakfast and happy hour are a plus! Will definetly stay there again

We had a king size room for NYE. The heat in the room was so warm and felt great on a very cold and snowy night. The hot water was very hot the bed was very comfy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our only issue was noisey neighbors on either side of us who came back very late on NYE and were very loud and had thus had their dogs barking until about 1:30 AM.

Visiting my son in Fort Bragg. We decided to sight see in the mountains this time. Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town to see. The hotel is in a perfect location. You can easily walk to main street. My only complaint would be wifi wasn't great. But I rarely had cell service so, it could of just been me. Quaint little hotel, in a quaint little town.

Nice hotel, good location, good parking and I would stay there again

this is an old motel that has been fixed up..it is close to downtown, a short uphill walk. rooms are small but nice decor, kind of shabby chic look. bed, linens and towels all very comfortable. the things that need most work are lighting and air conditioning. there was very little light in room, only 3 very small dim lights in room and in bathroom shower very dark, had to leave shower curtain over half open to see. only a window air conditioner in room and it couldn't keep room or especially bathroom cool, even when not that hot outside. continental breakfast good and breakfast room very nice with lots of space. for the high price or rooms they need to spend some updating electrical for better lighting and air, otherwise was a nice older place, quiet and cute, staff nice as well with good location

Hotel has very good street appeal. Area is very safe and not far from shops and restaurants (walking distance). Stayed there at end of March, 2017. Called ahead due to delay in getting there and checked in after hours. They were very friendly and cooperative and left us a packet with key and instructions in their after hours box. Room was very clean and did not smell from smoke like so many other "non-smoking" rooms do. Our room was a standard double bed and it was modern, clean, nicely furnished with real funiture, TV with Cable channels, and a refrigerator and coffee maker. Plenty of room for two people, but probably small for 4. The lounge is spacious and well decorated. Breakfast area is large and airy and has tv. Food selection was better than most motel breakfasts and entire facility was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking too.
