Stayed with our two Shelties, and the property was great for walking them around the pond and building. The private deck with rocking chairs was a great way to "wind down." Room was clean, attractive, cozy. Wish it were closer to the downtown as the walk was a bit much for my feet and noisy (car traffic) for the dogs. All in all, would stay there again.

Nice place in a nice town

The staff here is great and knowledgeable. The locations offers the solitude needed for relaxation, in addition to the proximity of shopping and restaurants.

Location.

Beautiful location and rooms. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Back patio area was convenient but was kind of messy.

Already submitted my review; room too small, microwave/fridge not as advertised

It looked like a cute little condo. The hot tub was a nice feature.

This hotel has seen much better days. Because of Covid the checkin was with a key left in key box. NO ONE to be seen. Also because of Covid no housekeeping and breakfast. The lobby was closed. Felt very strange no one to ask for advice. You were instructed to call if needed anything. To me this is an over reaction to Covid. At least have someone there in day. On the nice side, our room was spacious and bed relatively comfortable, the furniture is old and drab. We had a kitchen (very small) with practically no amenities; no paper towel, no dish towels only 1 spoon, no extra garbage bags. Although management said call if we needed anything Thought it was strange not enough items left to cover stay. We were there three nights: 1 small bar soap, 1 very small tube bath wash, 2 small rough bath towels, 1 hand towel. Sheets, while soft, were old and stretched out. The room had clearly been cleaned as I wiped it down when we arrived (can’t be too cautious) Any Air B&B would have been better. They always offer amenities and go out of way for guests. We have stayed in hotels since Covid and housekeeping and food service cancelled but lobby always open with personnel. If no one is going to be around leave some suggestions of restaurants and things to do in the room. We concluded that between the condition and no amenities we would NEVER recommend this hotel.

It was a cute little inn. Unfortunately we were there for a very rainy weekend and the rooms were very moist. Nothing ever seemed to dry, but it wasn't their fault. The bed was very comfortable, the staff was GREAT! It was well appointed and convenient to everything locally.

It was quaint and great if you were traveling with your pet.

Quaint little mountain inn. We loved it and will stay again. We met some very nice people during the Fri. and Sat. night happy hour. A nice lobby to sit and read by the fire.

Charming isn't the word for the office/lodge area. We sat by the fireplace during happy hour and relaxed by the crackling fire. Smores laid out on the table for roasting. Breakfast was a nice continental. Our room was cozy. Mattress was soft but too soft as we rolled to the middle. Housekeeping was in a rush when this room was cleaned...no soap was left & a dirty washcloth left on tub. Other than that, which could happen to anyone, this was an excellent stay. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice back porch view, and very nice lobby, great service and very nice people, around the corner from Main St and plenty of nice restaurants.

The Village Inn was a great place to stay! Our room was very clean and comfortable and we will definitely stay there again!!

Nice older motel. Very clean, but dated. Staff were great. Breakfast was good. Would consider staying there again.

Pet friendly and extremely walkable to downtown Blowing Rock.

So pleasantly surprised - this was an excellent choice for us!
