all top, nice modern room, rich breakfast, very friendly staff. The gym on the 6th floor got a few machines as well as some weights. Regarding the breakfast i liked that it offered good choices. It is a bit to walk to the city centre. There is a but stop close to the hotel i was told. All great!

A ten to fifteen minute taxi ride from the airport and a easy walk into town centre. Check in was effortless and the staff speak excellent English. It is in a nice area, very open and feels very safe. We ate at the restaurant a few times and the food was excellent, the wine list favours local vintages and they are lovely wines. Everything about the hotel was perfect and will certainly stay there again.

It was a pleasure to be a guest in your hotel! Your staff was professional, courteous and friendly! It is so wonderful to stay at a hotel with happy and nice staff who also enjoy their jobs. I have posted on Facebook and Tweeted about your hotel. I also love the decor and modern style. The complimentary breakfast was amazing!! Keep up the excellent work!! Ciao!!

Great hotel from the outset. Good sized room and amenities. The roof terrace was a delight in the sunshine. Could not fault the staff who were willing to help with anything. Breakfast was good as was the bar (although this was a little bit expensive). Wifi was good. No balcony but the windows open wide. For bus to centre and shops - go out of hotel and turn left until you get to the main road. To the left (just out of vision but opposite the motorbike shop there is a large Eurospar. To the right, there is a small shopping centre with a Conad. Both are quite close. For the bus, go right, past the shopping centre and the stop is across the other side opposite the Tabbachi. Coming back, look for the yellow neon lights above the road and then the tabachhi. The bus stops in the centre just outside the old quadrangle (except for weekends when the buses do not go into the centre!)

This hotel offers excellent value for money for couples or families. A little way out of the town centre, but a brisk 20 minute walk. The hotel room are clean ,roomy and has plenty of charging points, lights and a good range of TV channels

Nice Parma airport no longer flies to Stansted, we have now diverted our flights into Italy via Bologna. It takes about 45 minutes longer along the Autostrade and a few euros. As we fly out on the first flight this means arriving at the airport at 4.30 wish and a long drive for that is not a good idea so we choose to arrive on the afternoon and visit Bologna then leave the hotel at 4 - as it is only 10 minutes from the airport that is much easier! The Sav is a good price and good, clean modern hotel that fits our requirements very well - would recommend.

Very good hotel with good rooms and good breakfast. Cleaning level was very good in the room. The breakfast room was a bit crowded. I you stay in this hotel you have to walk 25 minutes to piazza magiore and 15 to the start of via d'Independenzia.

We really enjoyed our brief stay at the Savhotel. The hotel itself is really nice, the rooms were very good, very clean and comfortable. The staff were terrific, right from check in to breakfast, the lounge and check out. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that the immediate area around the hotel seems a little like a housing project, and although we had no issues at all, the walk to the downtown core is the better part of half an hour, and walking back late in the evening seems a bit concerning. But the hotel and the staff were all very good, and it was a very comfortable visit.

The Savhotel is four star through and through. Bland, sleek and clean the hotel has all of the facilities you could want with that little bit extra. The staff throughout the hotel are generally ok with a few little gems who really try to make your stay that much nicer - Francesca was a delight throughout my visit! The restaurant and bar are plagued by poor opening times, but when they are available it's a delight! Great food and a fine selection of drinks, though a bit pricey. I'd recommend enjoying a cocktail on the rooftop before jumping in the (rarely used) Jacuzzi in the early evening if you want to unwind after a long day! Speaking of the Jacuzzi and rooftop I would highlight this as one of the hotels best and worst places. Its very quiet and hardly used which is wonderful for couples. However, the Jacuzzi isn't cleaned very often and the rooftop hardly serviced throughout the day. So, towels and drinks from the morning are still there come 11pm. The bedrooms are very comfortable, however if you were eyeing up that MediaSet collection of sports and extra channels forget it. Like most hotels the tv doesn't have signal on many channels and all of the extra access functions are disabled. Overall, it's a 4 star hotel with a 4 star rating because it's got everything you need to be comfy and with some amazing service, but it's lacking in attention to detail for the most part.

To start with the negative - this hotel is not as close to Bologna city centre as I would have hoped. Because we were coming in and out of the hotel a couple times a day, the walk became very tiring (20-30 minutes) and the taxi was about €10 each way to the centre. Apart from this, I cannot fault this hotel, especially for the price. Cleaning was superb and entire hotel was spotless. Rooms were nice. Upstairs was lovely and we spent a lot of time there (always very quiet up there which is a plus). Food was good and extensive breakfast included in the price. Tips - find a bus route. Don't get breakfast in the room, it's not worth the €6. Take full advantage of the free hot and cold drinks. Note to management - give Francesca on reception a raise. She went above and beyond for us and is an asset to the hotel.
