Great location, beautiful hotel, staff was excellent and buffet breakfast amazing! This is the place to stay in Bologna!

I booked this hotel for a five-day stay and ended up staying for 7 days as I was snowed in and my flights from Bologna to London were canceled. I cannot say enough about how accommodating this hotel staff was to my predicament. They extended my lower online rate to me and were most helpful getting me to the airport when I finally did leave. The room I had at the hotel was lovely....very small, with a view of another building, but the bed was wonderful, the amenities top notch, and the staff lovely. After a day or two, they knew me by name. The lobby of the hotel became my living room during my stay..the staff was attentive to my needs, but left me alone to spend lots of time there on my computer. I could not get out of the hotel for an entire day because of snow so spent it mainly in the lobby area. My niece, whom I was visiting, brought in carry out food and they provided plates and cutlery for our dinner. I would stay here again in a heart beat and have already recommended it to friends. Thank you for your hospitality....!!

Excellent location, good hotel, cordial staff. Had a major problem not handled well by front desk. We checked in and were given a small room without AC. It was broken and replaced with a large in room AC with a six inch pipe going out through the window which meant both noise and hot air came in. We had reserved a deluxe double room and so were surprised. Next morning went to complain and were told a mistake was made and so we were relocated to a deluxe room. So far OK but challenging. Then Maria at the desk told us we owed for another room because the reservation had not been cancelled. I checked with Orbitz and was told the room was cancelled on Feb. 19th. The next day Maria found a "miracle" and we weren't charged for the room. Contact with Maria was difficult. She made us feel as though we had made a mistake when in fact it was the hotel. I would describe her as rude and then fawning. The room mixup was the earlier clerk's fault but the rest of the mess was due to Maria. The difficulties tainted our trip to Bologna which is a lovely city. I understand things do happen but the tone and tenor of the interaction was unacceptable. Would return but would be far more skeptical and careful.

Had a very pleasant stay here. The room was clean and comfy, the AC worked great, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. A lovely home base to explore the wonderful city of Bologna!

This location is perfect. It was so close to all of the action at night. There were plenty of shoos, restaurants, and things to do in the area. During the summer there is movie nights in the nearby piazza. I will stay here again if I'm ever in Bologna.

Brilliant hotel, small, friendly and EVERYTHING WORKS CORRECTLY. Wonderful position in the centre of historic Bologna, it does not get much better than this. I would always go back there on any future trips to Bologna Les than 50 yards from one of the best (Michelin mentioned) restaurants in Bologna more than makes up for lack of restaurant for lunch or dinner.Wish there were more hotels like this.
