The staff could not have been better. Really, the staff here gives 5 star service. They made change for the bus for us, told us where the bus stop is, phoned a restaurant to make a reservation for us, made us cappuccino at 4:30 in the morning before our cab came. The room and bath are large and comfortable. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport and flight crews stay here. We wanted a place close to the airport for our early morning departure. Oh yes, the staff arranged the early morning cab for us also. It is a bit out of the city, so there is nothing old and charming in the area. It is very easy to get to by cab or bus. Oh yes, the price is great.
I stay at this hotel frequently as it is close to Bologna Airport and great for making the early morning flight. The rooms are always clean and the prices are always very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel
Great service, good value, nice breakfast, wifi is just OK. The room was specious and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel, if you want to stay close to the airport (it's pretty far from the city centre).
Loved this hotel. It is really more like a 5 star, and the breakfast is TO DIE FOR. Seriously the best breakfast I have had in a european hotel in a long time. I have never been impressed with Italian hotels but this one proved me wrong. It was great. It is super close to all the great sightseeing areas. You wont regret it.
I just stayed one night. Easy to arrive from the Motorway. I would like to remark the patient help from Silvia at the reception who was able to find 2 taxis for my group and to attend other people check-in at the same time.
The score of 3/5 is based on a 4* judgement. It just did not feel that way at all. Could easily have been a 4/5 or 5/5 3* place. The check in was very pleasant - good staff. The smell in the lobby and the corridors was a bit clinical. Hopefully it means that all was spotlessly clean, but it did not whisper "quality". The room was very small and awkwardly placed. The bathroom was so small that the door did not open all the way. For the first time ever I will comment on the toilet. I am a pretty tall guy with long legs, but I could not sit comfortably on it. I have no idea who the toilet seat is geared towards. Dutch only? The shower was ok, but the shower head is way past its retirement date. The parking, which there was enough of, was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast, on the other hand, was a bit meh. Not much choice and with a strong canteen feel. Not 4* quality. The bed was good and the isolation was ok, so the road noise did not bother me. The location is quite far from the center, so either a taxi or a rental car is in needed. Overall, if there is nothing else available, then it will work for one night. But, there are much better places at similar price levels. I am quite sure that I will not be staying again.
This is a great hotel for the price. Service was great. Breakfast offers variaty of food, it was excellent. Location is ok, the bus station is near and it takes you around 20 minutes to the city center. All in all, I recomend this hotel to everyone.
We spent one night at this hotel recently and we enjoyed our stay here a lot. Prior to our arrival we had spent a week in another city and were flying out of Europe and back to the US via Bologna because we found some cheap airline tickets flying out of Bologna. We had spent a week in Europe renting an apartment at a modest but cheap location. It was really nice to spend our last night in Europe at My One Hotel. Although the hotel room was obviously more expensive than our apartment, it was really nice to have all the luxuries of a quality hotel at our disposal prior to our departure. 1) The room, while small, was very nice. 2) The bed was very, very comfortable. 3) The shower was excellent (and much nicer than your standard European apartment shower). 4) Room service was awesome. We don’t own a smart phone, and they spent time helping us check in to our flight on their computer. 5) The breakfast in the morning was top notch. 6) There was a bus stop nearby that allowed us to run downtown and shop to buy gifts for friends (and ourselves). 7) Oh, almost forgot, they are 5 minutes from the airport. Not sure if we will be back in Bologna again, but we will stay here if ever come back here.
Rooms are clean but the global hotel is quite old. Rooms are clean, but lots of element should be fixed. The restaurant is not good at all, some pasta were even frozen inside... The area is not good at all, stay there if you plan to stay in your room or if you are ok to take taxi for finding food, beverages or even a walk at night.
We needed to be at the airport for a morning flight and so chose a hotel close to it, rather than struggling to get in and then out of the city centre. This hotel is an easy ten minute drive to the airport and provides good parking on site. It is also on the number 19 bus route into the centre of Bologna and we made use of this to have a couple of hours of sightseeing, without the hassle of parking in a big city. Our room and bathroom were both well equipped and comfortable. All the staff we met were efficient and courteous and breakfast was well above average, with lots of choice. There is a McDonalds next door to the hotel and it has its own bistro. However, we found a fairly basic pizzeria about a five minute walk away (go left out of the hotel, left again toward the large roundabout, then left again and it's about 50 metres on the left.) This seemed a better way to spend the last evening of our trip and the wine was 4 euros 50 cents for a half litre, rather than 5 euros a glass as at the hotel. Overall, this place was great for a one night stay and we would choose it again if flying into or out of Bologna.
