Haven’t been to this hotel in about 20 years.. it has updated quite a bit. The food is excellent, the staff is beyond accommodating, pool is clean and big, decent work out area which also houses laundry area... it is central to everything.! 10 minutes from the hospital, 5 minutes from downtown Boise, 5 minutes from the mall and shopping areas. Will def be staying here on my next trip back to Boise

Loved location, wonderful bed, terrific breakfast! Will absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

Right next to the Boise River, with easy access to downtown shopping and dining. Easy freeway access. Great dining at the hotel, and several other locations within walking distance. Staff is courteous, and has good grooming and dress standards.

We stayed at the hotel recently for a conference/eclipse excursion, for five nights. The room was spacious and comfortable. My wife and I are accustomed to a king-sized bed though and the queen bed in our room was crowded by comparison. The room and bathroom were kept spotless. We arrived around sis hours prior to the 3PM check in time due to the airline bumping us to an early flight, but the very kind desk staff took my number and called me as soon as the room was clean; around 10. We went out for a late breakfast, and everything worked out perfectly. The food in the hotel was excellent. The breakfast buffet, included with our room provided a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. My son left his Ipod behind when we checked out, but the housekeeping staff retrieved it and mailed it to us; bless them.

Nice property though it is under construction--and there is a significant amount of construction going on. Which, of course, results in some noise, some confusion regarding parking and hotel entrance/exit, etc. However, I still enjoyed my stay as I though the restaurant was very reasonably priced and had a nice selection of food, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and included in the hotel rate, and the view from my gigantic room and gigantic deck was outstanding.

Upon approaching the hotel, we could see MAJOR construction going on. When we checked in, the interior lobby also had construction in process. When we asked about the construction affecting our stay and whether we should get another hotel room somewhere else, they assured us that it would not affect our stay and then upgraded our room. We said okay, and checked in. Then we find out that the complimentary breakfast, which was included in the room rates, was situated right next to some of the interior construction being done.! There was dust everywhere. After 2 days we were there, they had to close that section down and not serve food there anymore. They then moved the breakfast serving to a different area without informing the guests and we had to go out for 4 mornings to get breakfast. They also allow dogs in this hotel, which is fine; however, they are not restricted from the food/eating area which I think was absurd. Who wants to eat around dog hairs? In addition, we went to take a photo standing by the water and ran into a HUGE area filled with dog waste.! There was such an excessive amount that you could tell it was not patrolled by the hotel and yet, they allow animals. Another thing, we had been put on the 2nd floor and was told an elevator was available as my husband walks with a cane. The elevator was broken down twice and we had to use the stairs. Needless to say, it was difficult for my husband.

The front desk staff was great when I checked in, but that's where my great experience ended. The room was nothing like the photos. It was old and had a smell to it. They had lots of construction which was fine, but starting the construction in the courtyard before the sun even fully came up is not what I paid for. The breakfast grill was nothing special and the staff was very unhelpful and a bit rude. The stay was not worth the price. I will not be returning, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

A great place to stay in Boise. Great breakfast included in the price of the room. Close to a park and next to the green belt. $5/hour bicycle rentals. Wine tasting place right next door. Shuttle service to and from the airport and also will take you anywhere in Boise to go shopping and dining. Hotel restaurant is awesome and reasonably priced. Hotel staff is great. They are undergoing renovations now, but i am sure when they are complete it will look better.

The main guest areas were very nice, our room was comfortable but was in need of some general upkeep (door needed replaced/maintained, carpet getting super worn). Otherwise bed was soft and clean. Patio area was fantastic. Only downer is the breakfast situation. I would suggest making a reservation for breakfast downstairs if you need to eat and be on your way by a specific time or ordering room service. We were given an hour wait and the hostess was less than kind in helping me understand my options. Not impressed.

The hotel is old but updated. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It has a restaurant, bar and night life. They have a pool, jacuzzi, workout facility. The thing I really enjoyed was the Boise River, which was right outside the hotel. A beautiful walk or bike ride which was $5.00 to rent at the hotel. The food was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable. I would stay there again!

Very comfortable with all amenities You cannot beat the value

Went to meet a long time friend who I had not seen in two years. It was ideal. Gorgeous pool, wonderful, daily, FREE Buffet Breakfast, Great beds and clean rooms. They are in the process of updating so some minor details left to go, nothing that affected my nice, enjoyable stay. Super Staff.

It was our 2 year wedding anniversary and they upgraded our room! Very sweet. They also gave us some free drink coupons. They had a great musical group playing in the lounge/restaurant area made us want to go use our coupons and hangout got a while. The pool area was under construction, we could still use it just an eye sore. Room was great and bed was very comfortable!

It was a great place to stay.every thing was just right loved the walk in shower,I'm handy cap,it was easy to take a shower. Had room service spud was over cooked ,cold .Veggies look like they were burned. Breakfast was great

This is a grand old place, and very well maintained. We got upgraded to a large suite with a very expansive deck overlooking the river. Great free breakfast. Would recommend to anybody that doesn't need a cookie cutter hotel.

We just stayed at the hotel attending the Kenny Barron concert in the fabulous Sapphire Room At the hotel. Very nice room, clean, quiet and comfortable beds. Hotel staff were terrific and the entire experience was 5 star. Highly recommended.

Extremely comfortable, friendly and solicitous staff.

We needed to stay over in Boise for the night and wanted a reputable hotel close to our appointments. The Riverside was clean, comfortable, had on-site dining with good food and was close to our appointments at a good price.

I made a work trip into a mini girls vacation with my daughter. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our trip. Upgraded my room to a patio, provided bikes and directions to enjoy the green belt to the zoo and park. Fabulous dinner recommendations and a complimentary breakfast to die for. They r amazing and we will return!!

They are pet friendly but the pet designated rooms need an update. Otherwise the rest of the facilities are nice with a great free breakfast.
