I was in the best suite they have with a huge and terrific terrace. People at reception desk give me a very charm welcoming and asked for any need I had at the time. I was in the biggest room they have and it is absolutely recommended for business travelers in need of a decent space to work and even invite clients and guests to meetings in the room. The only thing is the rooms don't have heaters so you have to ask for one at the front desk. They provide you as many as you neeed.

Rooms are huge, noisy due to highway, sheets are not new but are clean, breakfast is great

Our stay can be summarized by the below points: Impressively poor room conditions -Room incorrect lay out, not cleaned completely. -Room missing towels, soap, dishes (had 1 plate and 1 fork in total). -Room was not as pictured, and dimensions were roughly 1/2 the Sq meters listed. -Amenities listed as Free were not free. -Broken, incorrectly assembled or missing appliances in room. -Bed was very rigid, but couch was ok to sleep on. Staff -Housekeeping walked into room without knocking when we were inside and definitely did not want to be disturbed... this was by far the most inappropriate action. -Very delayed checkin time despite arrive early. -Incorrectly copied personal information -When approaching the desk the attendant ignored us to complete something else without saying anything. -Sent us to the wrong room, then a dirty room. Same happened to the people behind us. -Charged us for a bottle of water that we didn't drink. -Charged us for insurance that wasn't listed. -Roomservice sent several incorrect items, then some items we didn't even order. -Roomservice told us we were mistaken when they brought the wrong item... -House keeping picked up sheets and took clothing that was inside the sheets, then was unable to locate missing item. -Sent bellman with our bags to the wrong room. Management -When discussing our concerns the manager agreed and recognized that the issues existed but that nothing needed to be done. -Manager discussing details of guests status over walkie talking assuming we didn't speak Spanish.

From the staff to the amazing room to the food. It's was fantastic. I will be back. It's the best hotel I've ever had the pleasure to stay at.

Nice and clean hotel with an excelent price for a suite. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have enough room space for a long stay.

Lancaster House proved to be a lovely finish to our delightful 10-day trip in Colombia! We stayed for only one night before flying back to the USA, but I would definitely consider Lancaster House for a longer stay when revisiting Bogota. I was in contact with Fausto from Guest Services prior to our arrival in order to book in-room massages, and when we walked into the lobby, he immediately gave us a warm greeting. Furthermore, we got a complimentary welcome glass of wine while waiting to check in! All of the service we received from every staff member at Lancaster House was outstanding. From the front desk to Guest Services to the restaurant staff—all top-notch. We really enjoyed our pasta lunch dishes at the restaurant, although I will note that the half-bottle prices for wine were a bit expensive. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was equally nice, with a broad variety of hot and cold options. Our room was delightful, modern and very clean. We did not use the well-equipped kitchenette, but it would have been ideal for a long stay in the city. I would recommend specifying whether you want 2 twin beds or 1 queen bed when you make your reservation…I assumed we were getting 2 twins but it turned out to be 1 queen and 1 pull-out sofa sleeper. This really wasn’t a problem for us, although it might have been nice if there had been an extra comforter/blanket available for the sofa bed. We didn’t have much of a chance to explore the neighborhood immediately surrounding Lancaster House, but it was a very reasonable taxi ride (I think around $6 US) to get to the upscale Zona G neighborhood, where there were many excellent restaurant options. Based on what we saw on our taxi ride, however, there are many restaurants and a large supermarket very close to Lancaster House. Also of note, I recommend booking an in-room service at Lancaster House, provided by Wellness Spa Movil! Our massage therapists were prompt and professional, and the 90 minute massage price (around $60 US) was so much more affordable than in the USA.

This is a really nice hotel, with large suites that have separate bedrooms and living areas in addition to small kitchens. The location has positives and negatives -- very close to the airport and the city bus stop but because it sits next to the busiest highway, the constant buzzing of traffic can bother some people at night. If you can sleep through the humming of cars in the background, then service is great, building is well maintained, and even the food is decent. Great value for so much space and quality, with the only downside being a bit far from downtown and the traffic noise at night.

Good area and close to public transportation which makes it easy and cheap to go from one place to another. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel for business or tourism. Good space with kitchen, suite, and a spacious bedroom. Good location in the north of Bogota residential area but with good choices of restaurants and shopping nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.
