Hilton Garden Inn Bloomington

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The Hilton Garden Inn is close to many restaurants and the IU (Indiana University) front gate. I think it is the first choice for visitors to IU. The staff is courteous. The room is large and comfortable. The only negative opinion I have is that the hotel charges $10 for daily usage of the city-run garage behind it. I think the hotel should absorb the charge and provide free parking just like any other hotel.

quick check in and very courteous personnel. Great amenities and with an attached restaurant that served awesome breakfast.

Very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. The staff members were friendly and helpful, the location in the town center convenient, and the price reasonable. The restaurant has a wide selection for breakfast, with fast and friendly service. We will definitely stay here when we visit Bloomington again.

I booked this hotel after I proposed. The location was great - close to campus and walking distance to downtown restaurants. Easy access from parking garage to our room. The room was clean and classy - a perfect place to relax after a wonderful, yet stressful, proposal.

The hotel was clean, conveniently located and the staff was extremely nice. Went out of their way without us making requests.

The staff were wonderful. The location was terrific. Plenty of parking available

Came in town for a night and was pleased to see the location was right in town. After checking in, with a pleasant young lady, we were incredibly happy to see our spacious, clean and well stocked room with necessaties of a traveler stocked. If ever in Bloomington again, this is THE hotel I will choose.

Spent 2 nights and found everything to be adequate.. There is no hotel parking, however a city parking garage is located behind the hotel and had to pay for parking.. The first card purchased through the hotel for parking was evidently never activated so had to purchase a second card and then noticed the first fee was never removed.. The carpet was old and dirty but the rest was fine.. No continental breakfast but there was a $10 buffet.. Next time I will not stay downtown to avoid the parking hassle..

They was doing renovations the whole time and elevator didnt work. Had to use stairs.

It was fine, comfortable enough and convenient, and the staff was very helpful and friendly

Just ordinary....high priced for an average room I thought.

Their bed was super comfy and the room was nice and clean but there were a few problems during our stay. We arrived right after they stopped serving room service so my husband had to go downstairs to get dinner and bring it up to the room. After he signed the bill, the waiter gave him the food, drinks and receipt but not his credit card!! We didn't realize it until last night. We had to call and cancel the card and my husband called the manager of the restaurant last night to tell him what happened but he had to leave a message. No one returned his call.

This hotel is very expensive for what they offer. that said it is the best of Bloomington Indiana so be prepared to pay. Staff is very nice.

Everything was wonderful. A nice clean quiet place to stay in the middle of downtown. We will definitely stay here when we return to Bloomington again.

Great place to stay if you are interested in IU or Bloomington. Loved having free wiFi. The room was nice but needed some updating with the bed linens and shower curtain. Staff was helpful. Didn't like having to pay for parking.

The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomington were exceptionally friendly, offered recommendations for dining that were top notch and made sure our trip was "perfect". It is conveniently located close to restaurants and within a short drive to IU campus. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

I was on a one night business trip. The hotel was clean with good amenities, free internet, fridge in room, well equipted work out room and pool. Staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable and even the restaurant was good.

Smooth as silk. We were in town for an IU game and the ease checking in and moving about was great. The self adjusting beds made for a very comfortable evening's stay.

Excellent location: room was clean. Price was jacked-up for IU parent's weekend. I've stayed at the Marriot Courtyard down the road too. The Hilton is newer and nicer.

Thank you so much for taking a moment to share your experience. We greatly appreciate your feedback! We appreciate the comments regarding our courteous staff and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, our hotel does not own the parking garage, it is owned by the city of Bloomington therefore, we must charge a parking fee which is then absorbed by the garage itself, not the hotel. We hope you will choose to stay with us again next time you make a trip to our area.
