Excellent service at check in. We arrived 3 hours before regular check in time but front desk arranged quickly a room for us. Everything in this motel is brand new, so it's step ahead of other lodgings of this type.
Renovation in progress. The rooms, lobby, breakfast area and pool area have all been recently renovated and they did a great job. The best bed I slept on during our two week road trip. Loved that we could sign into Netflix on the TV. The staff was very friendly. Walking distance to the grocery store / bowling alley. Great little family burger joint called The Patio was in walking distance a block down. Would definitely stay here again if passing through.

We drove for 5 hours an hour and a half of which was in the dark with very little gas. When we finally arrived we found the place to be very anticlimactic. Everything closes very early in the town and there isn't much to do. The property itself was nothing special. The room was ordinary. The photos make it look nicer than i really is.

Older property bring rehabbed. Our room was very comfortable although a bit stark. Did not like the TV options (streaming) vs main channels. Good breakfast although a bit crowded that morning. We were glad we chose this option during our overnight in Blanding. Thanks

Thank you for your review. We have you checking in around 11 p.m. and wish the town had something going at that time but it doesn't. The town is small but quaint and has many historic areas to visit and offers a scenic wonderland for the traveler especially during the day. At night, its quiet, very quiet. Although we respect your opinion on the room being normal, 99% of our guests find it amazing to have this jewel of a hotel in a quaint town of this size. We hope your travels got better as you moved on. If you are looking for great scenery and some nice local establishments feel fee to try us again. A word of advice in the future, avoid traveling throughout the remote area of the West while low on gas. It can be a fairy good distance between gas stations.
