Nestled in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Black Mountain, you’ll enjoy a fully equipped chefs kitchen, comfy living room, dreamy beds, dedicated workspace, mountain views from the relaxing backyard (outdoor grill, fire pit, dining area), and a spacious front porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Easy walkability to downtown Black Mountain, Lake Tomahawk and Montreat.

Fannie’s Cottage will captivate your heart. Our newly-renovated cottage is located just 3 minutes from the charming Black Mountain town center.

Enjoy the ease of a keyless entry, well-equipped chef’s kitchen with new stainless-steel appliances, Keurig and drip coffee makers, in-home washer and dryer, and a dedicated work space with a lamp and chair.

Each of our two bedrooms boasts a new top-of-the line queen-sized mattress as well as individual air conditioning units for ultimate sleep comfortability.

Our fully stocked house easily accommodates four guests with ample linens, towels, and a body wash/shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower.

Make yourself at home in our newly furnished living room, complete with electric fireplace, 50" Smart TV, and high-speed internet.

Our outside spaces provide the perfect setting for enjoying the cool mountain air. Relax on the backyard patio while enjoying the dining space, firepit, and grill. The fenced-in back and side yard are shaded by beautiful trees. The front deck is equipped with cozy rocking chairs to make your vacation dreams come true. Parking is available for up to four vehicles.

The owners of Fannie’s Cottage, Kay and Vaughn, currently live out-of-state, but guests will be well taken care of by Whitney, our co-host extraordinaire! She lives a mere two minutes away and will be happy to provide whatever assistance or support you may need during your stay.

There is a Ring video doorbell located at the front door and a Ring video motion light at the rear of the home. These will NEVER be active during your stay. They are only active when the cottage does not have a guest booked. There are absolutely NO cameras in the house. Your complete privacy is among our top priorities.

Excellent property and location for both Asheville and Biltmore Mansion. Home was very accommodating, immaculately kept. Our two toy poodles loved the back fenced yard Really enjoyed visting the town of Black Mountain. Everyone was extremely friendly and very talented artist. This was a perfect vacation for me and my husband and our two pups! I booked this place for the fenced in back yard! It was so much more! Staying here was a pleasure! The location to downtown was only about a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk. Very clean and quiet! We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back! The cottage was very cozy and clean, tucked away in a cute little area a short walk into town. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils, there were plenty of towels and the beds were very comfortable. The wall A/C Units kept the cottage very cool as it was the middle of summer. The fenced in back yard was nice and private and very well maintained. The living room was set up with a pretty big tv great for watching movies. Check in and check out process was very quick and the host was very good at responding to anything that we needed. Highly recommend, I have nothing negative to say!

Visit to Black Mt June15-21st

The cottage was clean, very new and had many updated appliances. Beds were wonderful and tv had many choices. Bathroom suitable though no hand grab to get into shower or tub. Kitchen was large and well stocked with pots, pans and toaster and coffee maker. Back yard was fenced and cool in the morning. Suitable for dog. Front porch was new and had rocking chairs but needs rail to use for steps. I’m old and needed some help in order to go up and down steps without falling. If I had been alone I may have fallen in bathroom and also on porch steps

The Cozy Cottage was wonderful! It was clean , comfortable, and the perfect base for our trip to Black Mountain / Montreat /Asheville. We cooked many of our own meals, and the kitchen was really well-equipped. It was nice to have a fenced in yard for our dog. Highly recommend!

Black Mountain visit

Cottage was very clean and just the right size for our family of 3. It was conveniently located a short walking distance to downtown Black Mountain, so visiting local eateries was easy without having to find parking. Host recognized small child with us and dropped off a pack n play to ensure we had everything needed. Definitely will consider the property again when in Black Mountain area.

Cute, Clean and Updated Mountain Cottage

This cottage was perfect for our short stay in Black Mountain. It was well decorated, very clean, and had just enough space for us. Loved the extra heater/fire feature under the TV, very cozy. I appreciated the extra blankets to curl up with on the sofa; we were there on a very cold weekend. Was able to make my coffee in the morning and enjoy to quiet. Cute fenced backyard with fire table and grill. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear, and Whitney was a great communicator. It's about a 15-minute walk to the downtown and shops, which we would have done if it hadn't been so cold that day; it was only a 3-minute drive. All in all, Great stay and great property! Would stay again :)
