When we arrived we were told that the elevators were under construction. The receptionist was wonderful. She found us a room (upgrade) on the first floor. This was great, both of us being seniors and my husband severely visually challenged. The furniture needs some attention but we would stay there again.

Underwhelming for the price
For starters the staff was VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL! We had 3 rooms, and they were all clean enough, except for one that smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The front desk moved us, which was helpful. The rooms are big, but overall the whole place is tired and needs a lot of attention from the company. One of the exterior doors was super finicky and you had to try your key a bunch of different ways. Room cabinets, bathroom, etc, are in need of serious updating, hallways and floors are very noisy and we could hear all the bag rolling, thuds, etc from the room above because of the lack of carpet. Hall carpets and walls in need of new carpet and paint. Breakfast staff was very nice, but selection was not great and the hot foods seemed in very short supply the first morning, when there was still over an hour left of breakfast. It was an okay place, but I feel that this particular hotel was overpriced for the condition of it. Again, the staff was great.

We reserved a studio bur when we checked in none were available. We were upgraded to a one bedroom at no additional cost! The feont desk manager was very personable and professional. If we are ever in the area again we will book here.

I liked the location as it was located in what would normally be a quiet area and located near shopping and dining. However, the complex was being re-roofed while we stayed there. Since we were recovering from surgery, it made our stay rather miserable during daylight hours. If we had not pre-paid for our stay, we would have checked out and gone elsewhere. The noise factor was the single biggest problem we had.

They were getting work done to the roof but the hotel has quiet hours from 10p-8a and the roof work didn't start until 8am. There are a couple of strip malls less than 15 minutes away. Plenty of dining options including sit down and fast food. The parking was plentiful. The area itself was quiet despite having several extended stay properties in the area. I didn't make it to breakfast but the rooms were clean and well stocked.
