The front desk person was nice, and the lobby was inviting. However, upon checking into our room we found multiple bed bugs on all of the beds. We left within 3 minutes of stepping foot in the door. Front desk is not allowed to give refunds without General manager's approval. I was told the general manager would call me by 10:30 the next morning, however I never received a call. I had to go through Orbitz for my refund. I submitted pictures of the bed bugs.

The room smelled very strongly of animal pee and there was a weird smell around the building that came in the vents at night, I also think someone was smoking in their room which the hotel has no control over of course. But other than that everything was great! We really enjoyed the space for the price, I’d stay here again if I knew it wasn’t going to smell like pee.

When we enter our room, it smell like smoke. Like someone been smoking for years in there. The toilet was gross! No one had clean the bathroom and the toilet was awful. No tissue paper was in the bathroom. Just was horrible. I couldn't even sleep in there. I will never come back to this hotel.

I am not one that normally leaves a poor review or complains. This hotel had a good review so we booked it. Jennifer at the front desk was very helpful and made the check in easy. When we walked into our room it smelled of smoke and we brought this up to Jennifer then put us in another room. When we went into the second room it appeared clean, but we were horrified after unfolding the sofa bed. There were stained sheets with a crusty face cloth tucked in with the sheet. Upon lifting the very worn mattress we also discovered absolute filth. We brought this up to Jennifer who then gave us a third room which was cleaner and we were able to finally go to bed after driving 14 hours that day. The cleaning staff obviously did not do their job on this particular day. I chose Sonesta as I have heard wonderful things from friends who have stayed with this chain. Myself, I will not be returning to Sonesta and will look for chains I have stayed with before.

I booked a two room suite online, when I arrived they put me in someone else’s room. A tiny single queen room. Had to go back to the desk to get things sorted. Finally got into my suite only to hear interstate traffic all night long. Not a place to stay if you want sleep.
