My 1st visit to Bintan during school holiday with my kids. No regret of choosing Nirwana Resort, lots of kids activities and my kids were really enjoyed it. All the staffs there were really friendliness and helpful. Definitely will be coming back again!
We had booked a room for 2 days for our anniversary.. The room was very clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was great. The resort provides lot of activities.Indian food is available at spice restaurant inside the resort. The food was ok there. We had also used the spa for a traditional massage.Massage was not that great. For travelling inside the resort there are shuttle buses. But would recommend renting a vehicle for personal use if you dont want to waste much time waiting for the shuttle. The staffs were very helpful and friendly.Overall enjoyed the stay
Disappointed with my stay. I believed I had paid for premier room and it was the same as all the others. Bathroom was decent. Surprising about a beach resort, no windows that could open or a balcony! Pool and beach were good. The most disappointing thing was the food. Every meal was just acceptable. Mid week it seems the breakfast room is closed and they do the buffet in restaurant close to the pool. It's just big enough for guests and ridiculously hot. Lunch in both resort options are basically the same cuisine. Dinner was marginally better. The food for what it was - definitely wasn't cheap. Would I go back- no. I'm glad I went to bintan, and the convince from Singapore makes it a very easy option, but nirwana won't be getting a visit from me again.
I stayed at Nirwana Resort holtel from 17th to 19th June and had one of the most satisfying hotel stays in my recent years of travelling. While I was only there for three days with my family(1 child and 1 infant) , I wish I could have extended my stay because of the amazing experience I had at the resort. The staff, the rooms, the recreation facilities, and the atmosphere of the resort was above and beyond my expectations, and would just like to notify to you that your Resort Staff's are doing a excellent job in every aspects. I had wonderful experience during Thriller boat and JetSki ride. The instructors were encouraged us and guided very clearly and smoothly. Special and Many thanks to WaterSports staffs. Hope to visit again.. Thanks for making my family trip very enjoyable.
Hotel and Property were really good. Just not quite happy with the Manager's (Mr. Indra) attitude. They charged for kids' breakfast. He literally argued in front of all the hotel guest in breakfast area and very rude. Otherwise, it was good and a lot of good options for water activities.
everything is good. but activities in the resort are a little expensive, as well as the spa . However i will go back to your resort again. kelong resturant is good taste, but expensive. the value of money is not quiet good.
Fantastic resort to stay. Very clean clear and nice service. We stayed for 1 N only and our room was sea facing. Clean white sand private beach. Swimming Pool and couple of fountains are too good. But food variety in the breakfast need to improve.
It is our first time to visit Bintan. We booked for a 3D2N stay for the Delux Premium room and we definitely NOT recommend this resort for your holiday! When we reach the resort reception, the receptionist told us that our room is not ready. In this case, they make a free upgrade to a sea view room. To our horror, we realized the hotel allocated 2 single beds to us even though we had specifically requested for 1 queen size bed during our reservation. We when back to the same receptionist upon hearing our problem told us that they are fully booked. The room were out dated, floor is dusty, fridge not working. SGD$175 per night get this kind of room! When to Dino Bistro for lunch, staff is a lot, but waiting time is too long. We order 1 spaghetti, 1 fish & chip and 2 glass of ice water. Waiting for 10 min for 2 ice water, some more need to remind them. Food is just ok but expensive SGD$35. For your inform, all ice water is tap water with ice. They done it in front of us. When to Kelong restaurant for dinner, choose the crab on your own, weight 500gm, but when the food is sever, the carb don’t look like the amount we choose, and the taste is normal. The rest of the food is nice but price is expensive too. At night, wanted to buy some snacks and beer at minimart, but already close when we reach. Is a Saturday night! End up we when to Dino Bistro for supper around 9.30pm as the is no more place around. When in for 2 can of beer and fries. Has not been told closing at 10pm, around 9.45pm asking to bill. 20 plus for the supper. 1 can of beer cost SGD$8. 5min later, they off the music, after that off the fan. Eating my supper with this kind of standard. Next morning, when to the count for a day trip to Tanjung Pinang, is a 6 hours trip cost SGD$75. Driver were busy talking with his phone, we wanted to go 3 place at Tanjung Pinang, in the end we only manage to go 1. Ask the driver any place to recommend any place, he said here only like that…. After the trip, at night we tried the Noodles house for dinner on the next day and the food tasted much better though the price is a little on the high side. 2 bowls of noodles and 1 glass of orange juice cost SGD$50. Final suggestion, everything close at 10pm, what to do during a weekend night? Stay inside room? Management should look around as your Price for food and activities are really expensive. How many of your guests is using the facilitate. How come there is still room cleaning during later night 11 plus? Moving the cleaning trolley is so noisy. Expect to pay Singapore price for everything. This will be my first and last trip to your resort.
Friendly hotel 10min drive from ferry terminal Food good (better than clubmed) They have all activities, both land and sea We tried All Terrain Vehicles (ATV), snorkelling, mangrove tour, fire flies tour, jet ski, kayaking, bungee trampoline
We booked a three bedrooms private villa for a family event and we had a wonderful time there. The villa is spacious and nicely decorated, the sea-view private infiniti pool is fabulous. With the villa, comes a buggy to move around in the resort, which is very convenient and fun. We had a barbecue at the Villa : the food is plentiful, its quality is correct, but not fantastic. This applies for food in general in this resort. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I will probably do it again for other events.
