Wonderful updated cabin in great neighborhood
We had a great weekend stay at Ula’s home. It was my husband and our 2 young kids but it would have been a great set up to have another couple join, as there is a bedroom and bathroom on the main level and 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms on the bottom floor. The home is located in a great neighborhood, very close to the village and one of the sledding hills but tucked away in a hilly neighborhood with beautiful views of the ski hill. Everything was clean and the home had been updated recently. Beautiful bathrooms! Appreciated that there were toys and books for young children. Fast communication with the property manager and owner. Highly recommend and would definitely come back again!

Amazing home in Big Bear!
I cannot say enough about this property! My family and I ski every year after Christmas and always use VRBO. We usually ski in Mammoth, but decided to go to Big Bear this year. This property is the coziest, most comfortable place we have ever stayed in 10 years. Ula was an amazing host and was very responsive to every need. The decor is precious, and the beds are very comfortable. The Master bedroom has a fireplace and a huge king bed that was so comfortable and the shower in the master felt amazing!!! (That seems silly to note, but after all day skiing one thing you want is a hot shower with plenty of water pressure). The kitchen setup is perfect for our family of 7 as the bar seats 5 comfortable making meal prep and eating easy and it is nice for the cook to not have to be seperated from the group during meal prep. There is a perfect little sledding hill in front of the porch as well which was fun after a day at the slopes. The property is just far enough from the slopes to feel a little secluded from the traffic, but close enough to go back and forth from the mountain for those who want to eat lunch at home or take a mid-day break. We seriously loved it and had an amazing stay. We wouldn't have changed a thing and hope to return to this same property soon!

Clean and Peaceful
The property was perfect for our summer weekend at Big Bear. We had two children and three adults in our party and it was certainly big enough and the kids loved their 'cowboy' room. It is clean and had everything we needed. The pictures are very accurate. We spent a lot of time on the upper deck which has a lovely view and is very peaceful. I would certainly stay here again.

A wonderful stay
The property was clean and the amenities in the cabin were good. No real view, obstructed by trees but still enjoyable. A variety of Birds came to the feeders every day.

Great place to stay in Big Bear
Had a wonderful time staying here! The place was very cute and well appointed. Plenty of space, clean and warm (good heater). The mattress in the master bedroom was awesome, and we slept way better than we normally do in most hotels.
I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Great escape for our girls weekend!
When my friends and I decided we were in need of some R&R I knew where we had to go. I stayed here with my family a couple months ago and remembered how perfect it would be for the 6 of us ladies to get away from LA. They even added a hot tub which was amazing to relax in after our hike. After dinner at the Black Kat in the village (which was delicious!) we came back, started a fire, enjoyed some wine and caught up on life. It was the perfect size and has some nicer touches than other cabins we've stayed at in the past. Everyone slept well and we had a blast. We'll definitely do this again next year!!!

Perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility to local activities
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Two Bear Chalet. Our two kids (6 and 3) really wanted to take advantage of outdoor activities while in Bear Bear. This cabin was situated so close to town and Big Bear Lake and all of its various recreational activities that it made it so easy on us to enjoy full days of hiking, boating, bike riding, zoo visiting, and shopping without much effort or time. Yet, the cabin is nestled up a hill within a charming neighborhood and dense forest such that it feels quiet and removed from the bustling activity of the main town and recreational areas.
The cabin's layout is wonderful, offering distinctly separate spaces to help a family spread out (or to create separation for a couple different groups). We spent a great deal of our time standing on either side of the kitchen bar counter, unwinding and reflecting on our adventures or scheming about the next ones.
I'm in love with the second-floor patio/balcony with its rich finished wood deck and railings, with long table, great for family meals. Its elevated position compared to much of the neighborhood allows for some tremendous views of mountains, ski slopes and forests. It's so serene!
Beds/accommodations are very comfortable, with an awesome pull-out trundle bed that brings one of the guest rooms to three beds (which came in handy for us).
The wi-fi worked really well, and the cozy living room has a great wood-burning fireplace and sizeable TV wired for Netflix and such which made for a nice family movie night to unwind after a long day of outdoor fun.
The kids haven't stopped talking about the Big Bear adventures and "our cabin" since we left, so a repeat booking may be in our not-so-distant future!
Thank you, Two Bear Chalet! See you again soon. ;)

Great getaway in Big Bear!
We had a lovely visit to Two Bear Chalet last weekend. We found the place to be comfortable
and cozy as a cabin should be yet it was filled with high end furnishings. We had plenty of space
indoors and it was close to all the places we wanted to visit outdoors. We were only 5 mins from
the lake, the slopes and downtown. We enjoyed some gorgeous, easy hikes with the kids and
then returned in the evening to enjoy a BBQ dinner and bottle of wine under the stars and the
large deck once the kids were asleep. It was truly the perfect getaway for a long weekend. We
will be back!

A very nice place to come home to!
A very nice place to come home to! We very much enjoyed our stay at Two Bear Chalet. It's very conveniently located to hiking, town center, coffee shops, and grocery store. The place was very well maintained - very clean, nicely furnished with top of the line furnishings, yet also very cozy, lots of attention to detail and warmly decorated. There is lots of natural light, a nice deck with ample seating, and great views of the mountains. The kitchen was well-stocked with nice amenities for cooking and eating at
home. Beds were very comfortable. This is a very nice place to come home to after a day of adventure!

Two Bear Chalet proved to be an excellent choice for our week in the Big Bear area.
Two Bear Chalet is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. Minutes (maybe 5-6 minutes) away
from the slopes. And when you're not on the slopes, you have a wonderful view of the slopes
from the chalet's deck - or from the living area inside. Nice fireplace, very nicely and tastefully
furnished, and new HD televisions. Scenic neighborhood for hiking - right from the front door.
Less than ten minutes from shopping and the high quality restaurants of The Village. We very
much enjoyed our time in Two Bear Chalet, and for the price I can't imagine anything better -
FIVE STARS PLUS! For any and all of our future trips to Big Bear Lake, we hope to be able to
schedule our stay at this cozy and wonderful home.

High-end cabin!
We’ve stayed in lots of Big Bear cabins over the years, and this is definitely one of the nicest that we’ve been to. The interior with wood accents was beautiful, and the deck with views of Bear Mountain was so peaceful. The location was great – only about a mile away from Bear Mountain and the zoo. We can’t wait to return during ski season!
