The home itself was set up perfectly. Having the pool table, poker table in the great room along with the TV and kitchen made it fun for everyone to hang out together.The fenced yard was fine for dogs except a couple of places where there were fence openings. The cleanliness wasn't the best. In one of the bedrooms there were actually cobwebs hanging down a several inches from the ceiling above the bed. There was hair from previous guests in the bathroom corners.The worst part was the management company. A few days before check-in we requested an early check in. We were told there would be no problem as the previous guests had already checked out. The day before we asked again and were told they would let us know. After waiting we finally decided to head up to avoid as much traffic as possible. We let them know we were in town so they could let us know when we could check in. No communication. Finally, an hour before original check in we had to call again. We were met with a shockingly rude person but finally got the code to check-in. Upon leaving they make sure to say to book direct through them next time and not through VRBO since they can do it cheaper. IF we ever stay in Big Bear again, we will make sure to NOT book with any property managed by Destination Big Bear.
