This is the single grossest hotel I have ever seen. We went in our room and immediately booked a room at the Hampton Inn. Plus there was no one staying there and they charged us $20 for ‘early check in’. Run, do not stay here

There were a few black hairs in both beds and on one of the pillows. Also, the sheets had some permanent stains, which we just tried not to think about. There was no complimentary morning coffee at the front desk. The reason I didn't give less than four stars is because there were several good things about our stay. 1. Jess (the onsite manager) was extremely nice and helpful. He made 2. There were no bed bugs, which is always our biggest fear of staying in a motel. 3. The refrigerator and microwave were nice to have in the room. 4. The location of the motel was great. 5. The price was reasonable, compared to other properties in Big Bear.

When we checked in, we were given a room where the sink didn't drain. After what seemed like a longer negotiation than necessary we were moved to another room. This sink was slightly better because it did drain, but took a long time to do so. Everything seems pretty run down and only partially clean. We've stayed here in the past and it hasn't been a problem, but this year the flaws seemed really apparent.

For Motel 6, the rooms were clean. The girl in the office was not friendly. They were somewhat unorganized. You need to ask for blankets though. The gentleman who is cleaning the rooms was kind enough to carry our luggage down to our car for us as we are a little older. Nice guy!

I made a mistake on the days I wear to check in and within one hour they ripped me off for $210 when they told me they would give me a refund and they told the people that experience and then they turned around and took the money when I didn’t have any more money left
