It was fine, no better given the cost. However I was shocked that they gave my wife my brother's room key without asking for any ID. He would be checking in late and so we asked if we could get his key. Kindly enough they gave it to her but NEVER confirmed who we were by asking for an ID or any means of identification. Simply not a good practice in my opinion.

This was my second stay here, and all my original comments still enthusiastically stand: clean and comfortable rooms, lovely location, great breakfast (only on weekends), and owners who are clearly invested in the place. I look forward to my next visit!

The place is a delight. The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast area, gazebo, and the property are gorgeous. In particular, I appreciate the consistent fox-themed decorations :) The owners are friendly and very clearly care about the place. The continental breakfast was great, although note that, at least at the time of this review, it's only served on weekends. That said, the room where breakfast is served does have a microwave and a Keurig machine available. Overall, I enthusiastically enjoyed my time there, and I absolutely would stay again (and did, as I am retroactively writing this review about my first visit :)
