The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. A lot of board games for down time. The cookware was very non-stick and in great condition. All appliances were in great condition. The stovetop was very hot and efficient. The climate control kept the space very comfortable. Water pressure and heat was excellent. Plenty of parking space. There was wood for the fire pit underneath the rear of the porch. The host was very accommodating.

Comfortable and pleasant cabin in the woods for a women’s weekend get-a-way. Well furnished including kitchen. Comfortable beds. Lovely porches and expansive rear patio with hot tub and outdoor cooking area.

The house was a perfect fit for our party of 5 adults. Very open design. Lovely wrap around deck and screened in porch. Comfortable furniture and beds. Very clean. It is off the beaten path but not too far. I would suggest more towels available. Owner responds to questions and concerns very quickly. Plenty of parking space.

Almost Heaven!! What a lovely place to spend a week! There was plenty of space to spread out and relax. The beds were comfy and having 3 full bathrooms a plus. We enjoyed the hot tub and decks. Morning coffee in the screened in porch was so enjoyable in the quietness. Very peaceful surroundings. This was our favorite vacation rental and would stay at the cabin again if we gety back to West Virginia.

The road to the property was not ideal. We did enjoy our stay and the cleanliness of the property. I did stay in a home last summer located on Cold Run Valley that was nicer and just large with hot tub etc that was 600 cheaper than this place.

We loved our stay at this beautiful Log Chalet/Cabin! Highly recommended place for a group of friends like ours. We enjoyed biking, hiking and restaurants in Berkeley Springs and Hancock. Much more to explore and enjoy! We plan to be back next June.

Girls spa weekend

Stayed with a group of women for Berkeley springs spa weekend. We had a wonderful weekend, close to town and far enough away to enjoy the evening woods. The house was on a long dirt road, such a peaceful place and beautiful outdoor area with hot tub. Such a great place.

Restoration and Redemption

Myself and 3 teen/young adult sons stayed in this safe haven place for the 2024 Xmas holiday. In the last 2 years we have suffered extreme hardship and loss, as a result we live very simply with safety and security always on our minds. We saved for this little getaway and held onto it like a life raft waiting us. It did not disappoint. My sons immediately commented on the sense of security and safety the cabin provided us. The homey atmosphere and comfortable furnishing enabled us to release hypervigilance and anxiety we have carried and just be - together. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen tools as our budget requires home-cooking at it was effortless at this cabin. We played games at the generous sized kitchen table, enjoyed our own space in the comfy bedrooms, and laughed in the hot tub in the evenings. Gina was most helpful and communicative. We feel as if we gained back part of our selves that was lost on this vacation - redemption! We plan to start saving for a return to the cabin in 2025! Warm gratitude to the owners and all who contribute to making this space a place of peace and comfort.
