Less than 150 meters from the sea, Elfrank is a spacious apartment for 6 people. Completely renovated and with many amenities! Elfrank is named after a plant found in the dunes around Bergen aan Zee, also called bittersweet.

You have access to a spacious living room with dining and sitting area, TV and free wireless internet. The open kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and combination oven/microwave. Elfrank has 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each and a spacious bathroom with bathtub.

Die Wohnung ist an sich schön, hat aber nur auf der Nordseite Fenster, d. h. ohne zuzuheizen ist die Wohnung auch im Sommer sehr kühl. Die Endreinigung wurde etwas lockerer durchgeführt.Das Schlafzimmer 3 hat statt einer Tür nur einen Vorhang und kein Fenster, Schlafzimmer 1 hat nur ein kleines Fenster, das sich nicht richtig schließen lässt und durch das kaum Licht hereinkommt.Die Wohnung lässt sich nur unter Zuhilfenahme der (sehr gut funktionierenden) Luftabsaugung im Bad lüften.Das Wohn-Ess-Kochzimmer ist sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet, die Lampen stellenweise aber unzureichend.Der Check-in war absolut unproblematisch und schnell, beim Check-out ist praktisch, dass man auch in der Frühe den Schlüssel in den Briefkasten werfen kann, um bald losfahren zu können.Viele schöne Orte lassen sich bequem mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder schnell mit dem Auto erreichen. In der Nachbarschaft ist eine kleine Käserei, die Käsestadt Alkmaar ist nur wenige Kilometer entfernt... Wer einen großen, ruhigen Sandstrand, die holländischen Dünen und holländischen Käse mag, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten!

Absolut enttäuschend!

Ich kann mir die guten Bewertungen absolut nicht erklären: Die Wohnung war nicht vernünftig geputzt (u.a. ganze Haarbüschel von den Vormietern auf den Böden und im Badezimmer), in zwei von drei Schlafräumen war Schimmel an den Wänden und den Matratzen (sogar die Matratze des Babybettes wies eindeutige Flecken auf), ein permanent muffiger Gestank und Feuchtigkeit in den Textilien. Da es sich um eine Souterrain-Wohnung handelt, sollte ein vernünftiges Lüften gegeben sein, dies war nicht der Fall: Das Fenster in dem einen (verschimmelten) Schlafzimmer ließ sich nicht öffnen und den kompletten Wohnraum konnte man lediglich mit zwei winzigen Kippfenstern belüften. Ein weiterer Schlafraum war quasi ins Wohnzimmer reingebaut, somit ohne Fenster und ohne Tür. Das Mobiliar war sehr alt und verschrammt, was an sich ja nicht so dramatisch wäre, aber es war zum Teil auch wirklich gefährlich (zB gab es offene Kabel, Rollstuhlrampen, die nicht sicher befestigt waren, Steckdosen direkt neben dem Waschbecken ohne Abdeckung usw). Mit kleinen Kindern potentiell ziemlich gefährlich. Die Entfernung zum Strand war wie angegeben, das war das einzig Positive. Die Dame von der Agentur, bei der wir uns noch direkt vor Ort beschwert haben, war verständnisvoll und meinte sogar, dass diese Art von Beschwerden schon häufiger vorgekommen waren. Ansonsten konnte sie aber auch nicht helfen. Die anschließende Abwicklung durch die Agentur war/ist eine Katastrophe und m.M.n. absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Schöne Wohnung in ruhiger Strandlage

Das Objekt war wie beschrieben. Schön und praktisch eingerichtet. 5 Minuten Fußweg zu Minimarkt/Bäcker und Strand. In der Vorsaison war der Ort sehr ruhig. Wir würden wieder kommen.
