I booked this hotel mainly for its proximity to the airport since I had an early flight the next morning. I tried to check in just one hour early and was told it would cost €50, which felt excessive since for the last 21 days of travel through Italy and multiple hotels I was never charged. Interestingly, rooms were only $15 more on Expedia, so I contacted them and they were great about helping. This review is for the upgraded room: The A/C barely worked. Despite calling reception and asking for it to be lowered, the lowest it got was 24°C. I woke up sweating multiple times. The pillows were paper thin and very uncomfortable. The photos showed amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and lotion but all I got was a shower cap and cotton swabs, so I had to dig out my own toiletries. The bed was overly soft and lacked support. Three small lights near the headboard shone directly onto my face, making it difficult to sleep. Sound proof? I could hear everything. I ordered room service and no one ever came back to collect the tray. The food was okay. At checkout, I was charged $80 for room service without an itemized bill. By my math, it should’ve been closer to $60. I booked the airport shuttle and a couple of random men joined the ride, blasting music from their phone speaker at 7 a.m. I was dropped off last. Overall, not the experience I expected for an upgraded room or a “four star” hotel. Wouldn’t recommend. I have had GREAT experiences with NH.

Excellent one night stay

We were upgraded to a suite on arrival which was very big, modern and clean. We didn't visit the spa, which was included, so can't comment on that. We had pasta and drinks in the outdoor cafe which was lovely. We booked the shuttle back to the airport (for a small charge) for the next day, to get our bus to Peschiera. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel near airport with excellent dining

Great hotel close to the airport. Superb dining options at the bar and onsite restaurant. The downside of our stay was the room was too hot - we had to call the front desk multiple times to reset the environmental controls. Unfortunately, the temperature only went down a few degrees making for an uncomfortable stay. We booked a hotel shuttle to the airport which was convenient, but we had to wait for a half hour, since they were 15 minutes late, and our instructions were to arrive 15 minutes early. Overall, we would stay at the hotel again if we have an early flight out.

Lovely stay near airport

Lovely hotel ideal for the airport albeit a little off the beaten track. Staff were great, accommodating and the Spa facilities were lovely to relax in. A couple of drawbacks - no shuttle service to the airport during the hours of 11:00 - 16:00 and arranged taxi by the hotel was more expensive than from the airport direct. Whilst there is an abundance of tv channels useful to have TV Apps such as Netflix & Prime. Meals & drinks were lovely not so overly priced either. Overall good stay.

Lovely hotel. Very clean, corporate feel - comfortable beds and incredibly helpful staff. We were using it as easy access hotel for Bergamo airport, so spent very little time there other than to sleep. It's a 3km walk to the airport (which I did alone after returning the hire car late at night - felt relatively safe - bike lane underpass to the west of the terminal then through industrial estate and south on a quiet road) Unfortunately the shuttle was fully booked the next morning at 04.45 and 05.15 so we had to get a taxi to get to the airport by 5am (that they booked for us), but it cost €35 for the <10min journey. Too little time to use any facilities, and too early for the breakfast that was included. Totally did the job, but advice is book transfer at the same time you book the hotel. And if you don't have much luggage and fancy a walk is just over half an hour on foot.
