We booked this hotel view close to the Bergamo Airport and we had an early flight so decided for a sleep-over to avoid leaving home veryvery early to catch our flight. However we were disappointed about all of it, the interior seen better days, the bed was a 'closet-bed' arrangement ie very poor mattress and dirty bed-lined - ackward room and so on. No real space or place to sit down and relax except outside in the old plastic furniture and 1000's of moscitos. The breakfast was served in another building where we passed through the backyard of the hotel, stairs up and stairs down (really a problem if you are disabled or have difficulties in walking stairs). Breakfast was a dry croissant and one cup of coffee in a room which was very plain. We will not go there again and cannot recommend it.
The hotel is a long lonely walk from the airport, if you're grabbing an overnight stay between flights. it's a solid 20 minutes and not well signposted, a taxi might be an option if you're tired or with a young family.. You walk out of arrivals, turn right and keep walking even though it looks like you're going nowhere. Follow the fence right around the airport until you get to a quiet residential area then keep straight to the hotel. It's a little sterile but clean, quiet and dry. The staff are nice. There's a little neighbourhood cafe they use for breakfast which is pleasant.
I booked this for my in-laws as they had a flight early the following morning to Tenerife Service was absolutely fantastic and they had organised a taxi for them to get them there on time at no cost. Room was fantastic and clean and the hotel it self was perfect re cleanliness, ambience and location to Milan airport Definitely recommend this hotel
When you travel from/to Bergamo airport very late in the night or very early in the morning this is the best choice. We've stayed there more times and I must say that there wouldn't be a better option. The rooms are spacious, clean, have a little kitchenette. The design is a little futuristic, but very efficient and practical. The airport is within 20 minutes walking to the airport but you can also go by shuttle; just have to ask to the front desk. If you come by car, there is also a private parking. The restaurant is ok, although the design might be improved. But still, I don't think that guests pay such much attention to these details considering that they usually are on the run and they are just happy to have a croissant and a coffee. The staff is very efficient. The only thing that really might bother you is the noise of the airplanes. Although the windows are thick and well isolated you can still hear it. But, in the night the flights are rarely and after a while they stop. Once you get asleep you don't hear the noise anymore. Recomend this hotel, realy convenient and comfortable.
Modern, clean & accommodating staff. We had arrived very late, hungry & tired. The friendly girl at reception organized a late meal for us in the associated restaurant. Lovely pizza & wine. Our room was more like a small apartment, a bedroom with a bunkbed, main room with kitchenette, table, chairs & a settee that converted into a double bed. Bathroom was clean with a spacious shower & all the necessities. Breakfast the next morning was in the same restaurant, cold buffet with a great choice of bread rolls, different types of croissants, very tasty ham & all the other usual offerings. Checkout was quick & easy. We recommend the shuttle for €10 to the airport. It could be walking distance, but not with bags in the rain.
Apart from the part that due to Salone di Milano, they called me for increasing the charge of the room, the services have been excellent. The room was new and clean, check in did not last long, the breakfast was delicious and a lot of choises and also the van service to transfer me to the airport was very helpfull
This hotel offers great value for money. If you e.g. have an early morning flight, this is an excellent place to stay. Shuttle to the airport or you can walk as well (about 1.5 km). There is also a public bus just outside that takes you to the old town of Bergamo where you can go sightseeing and have an excellent selection of restaurants. There are also a few restaurants nearby.
We spent about 8 hours in this hotel - just for the night before flight. We got there really tired, angry (with late bus) and wet - it was raining, but the second we enter the hotel we found ourselves in great moods. It is the most modern, clean and well-equipped room in hotel I have ever been. Great, comfortable bed, big bathroom with separate shower and separate washbasin. Kitchenette (with wine opener!) and lots more, however I said - we didn't have time to enjoy it. And you get village style view from the window with real rooster! Hotel is rather close to the airport - it is walking distance, you get signs that direct you, but sometimes it is not so obvious. Unfortunately it's not close to the city of Bergamo, so it is really a place to get a good sleep before departing. We did not have a breakfast, separate price was expensive (but we were leaving very early - did not matter)
The first thing I want to comment on this hotel was the staff. Extremedly friendly even at the very late hours when I came. One would feel as if the staff of a 5-star hotel where transplanted into this place. The hotel is located about 1.6 kilometers from the airport. I made it by walking in about 20 minutes, although I would not recommend anyone to do so at night. There is a well-light bycicle and pedestrian way but it goes along the highway. Safety first. Once in your room make sure you put the keycard INSIDE the little machine to the left to keep the lights on. The light control panel may take a bit to get used to, but can be mastered in no time. The bathroom and toilet design are weird to say the least. I took some pictures so you know what I mean, but it is clean. I did miss complementary sleepers and I was not so pleased to use these monodose champú bags. I did not feel the hotel cheap for what you get, but then again nothing in Italy seems to be. Would I take a room again? Sure, provided I do not find something else cheaper.
we've used this hotel as a transit hotel. very hard to arrive if you use public transport. is very close to the airport and very noisy because of the planes. the rooms are very technologized and it have a nice bathroom
