Words cannot express the beauty and comfort of this place. The pictures and descriptions are not enough and we were blown away by everything during our stay. The first thing is the beauty. From the moment you walk into the lobby, your breath will be taken away and that feeling continues to the room, ...
Our two nights at Banana Bank were excellent. We utilized the pool, took a river cruise, and our favorite, rode horses through the jungle. The staff were all polite and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the owners, who graciously shared their story with us and made us feel at home. We are ...
The jungle setting was spectacular surrounding you with beautiful plants birds and animals. The staff and guides were extremely warm and helpful. The meals were terrific and set up so you got to know others guests who seem to have come from all over the world to stay at Ian's
First the staff here were fantastic. They recommended restaurants and we went to one that was excellent. The room we had was a small upgrade which was kind of them. This is a small private hotel. It's not the Marriott but the bed was comfortable. We elected no AC and outside at night was cool in ...
We had a delightful time at Rock Farm Guest house! Outside of Belmopan about a mile, this bird sanctuary allowed us to see many parrots that will one day be back in the wild. Jerry and Nicki were great hosts, and could answer all our questions about places to see, things to do on the Belize mainland. ...

Just a perfect view of the very calm ocean! The staff was top level. Always happy, friendly and eager to assist! We enjoyed snorkeling, scuba, kayaking in the ocean and zip lining in the rainforest. The swim up bar afforded the opportunity to make 18 new friends. We will plan to return by next year.
Tranquil, relaxing and amazing visit! You are in the remoteness of the jungle with the safety of the staff and rooms. The rooms have all that you need and while not a luxury resort, it has all that one needs and is very clean and well looked after. We were lucky to stay in one of the bungalows behind the restaurant and it was huge! There was a screened in porch if you wanted to be outside but not in the rain or at night and not fighting the bugs. The nearby trails were amazing! Some more difficult than others, but each adventurer should have their own adventure so I won't say too much about that... the wildlife is plentiful and if you want a true rain forest experience-- this place is for you! Ohhh and the food was excellent!! The staff always helpful and accommodating-- highly recommend this place!!
Staff were friendly, room was very clean and had orchids delicately placed throughout the room. Beautiful surroundings, bird sounds, great walks throughout the neighborhood. Delicious tea, and breakfast, and friendly owner.
Hotel grounds and surroundings are breathtaking. You come here to be in the jungle and experience nature. There is plenty to see and do on site so give yourself a day to enjoy the hotel (hiking, canoeing, tubing, feeding animals) if possible. Staff is so nice and make you feel at home. It’s a small place so they learn your names and make you feel special. Food at the restaurant is excellent and different every day. We stayed in aracari which shares a wall with another unit and seems to have less privacy than other cabins so take that into consideration when booking. Our only hiccup was with the phone provided. The hotel is off the grid so they give you a cell in case you need to contact anyone (no landline in the room). It seems like a great idea but is easy to damage when having fun in the jungle and carries a $100 charge so be careful! Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommended.. even if you fall in the river with a phone!
