I am the type of traveller that sees a hotel as a place simply to rest my head I don't want frills and fancies so all I look for is affordable, central location, clean, comfy bed and en suite and this ticked all boxes. Host also couldn't have been more hospitable or friendly even drove us back to the airport. City centre 15 min walk down long straight road. Yes rooms are small but have everything you need if you like more space just pay a little extra for a family room
Girls weekend away in Belfast was made 10x better because of Kevin the landlord of the B&b felt extremely safe & welcomed. The Breakfast was amazing!!!!Can't wait to go back again soon! Thanks Kevin!!
When my friends and I visited Belfast for the weekend earlier this month, Kevin picked us up from the airport and told us where is good to go. Everything that it said on thus page website was right- WiFi, good foods etc. The room was clean and warm! Kevin and his wife were very welcoming. Very close to the city centre. At the end of our stay Kevin took us back to the airport. I noticed I had left Christmas Presents behind at the BnB after Kevin had left. He had been kind enough to post it to England for me- thank you. Thanks again for a fab visit. We will be returning to Belfast and will be staying at your BnB for sure! All the best! :)
Stayed here for 3 nights. The B&B is located around 15/20 minute walk from the centre of Belfast. The room was fairly small but was enough for us. The breakfast was very good and set us up for the day. All in all, a good place to stay for the money and in a good location.
Thank you so much to Kevin who made me and my 2 friends feel very welcome! We are all young girls who came to Belfast for the weekend! The hotel had everything we needed! Lovely breakfast in the morning! Only a 3 minute taxi journey to the local nightlife and shopping centre! People need to stop complaining about silly things, the room was clean! Yes it was small but it had everything you need! at the reasonable price charged what do you expect? Lovely stay, definitely will be returning!
This is a good B&B in a historic location. Across the road is the historic pub and on the corner up the Springfield Road is where the Army Barracks stood which was the most attacked army base in Belfast during the Northern Ireland War. Just down the road is the notorious Falls Road. Barricades were erected along the Falls and probably the Springfield Road too in order to stop the British mobs from the Shankill from invading the Irish slums in the late 60's. The whole area is steeped in historic incidents from the war. Just up the Springfield Road is a house where I found a trip-wire when serving with the Brit Army in 1980-1982.
Ugh! Not at all like the photos! The room was clean & it was in a great location. Carpeting on the floor made my skin crawl & didn't take my shoes off until I got into bed. Definitely would not recommend it. Breakfast we mediocre at best & personally, couldn't wait to leave
Place is lovely, clean and very welcoming. The owner was very accomodating and I was able to check in late with no fuss. Was made to feel welcome and at ease as soon as I entered which was great especially as I was travelling alone. I stayed as I had to visit the royal hospital the following morning, Kevin the owner showed me where i needed to go in a map which made finding it extremely easy. Breakfast was great and much bigger than I expected. Very friendly people and really nice place I would definatly recommend, especially if needing to go the royal as it is very close. Thanks 😊😊😊
My two friends and I stayed here and loved it! It is everything you want in a B&B. Clean, nice amenities, and very friendly people. Kevin is awesome! He knows everything around town. Any questions about Belfast just ask him. He let us know where to go for food, drinks, and the sites. Thanks for all your help Kevin!
Unattractive property and our room, which included an unnecessary extra single bed (handy for luggage), was cramped for space, as was the en-suite. However, no issues with cleanliness and slept soundly. Access to the building and rooms is by key-pad code; no door keys are provided. Our host, Kevin, was very business-like but short on charm. He was however able to direct us to a lovely local restaurant and provide options and a map for access to the city centre. His wife, on the other hand, is a treasure; eager to please and cooked a lovely breakfast. Street parking is timed, but we were able to leave our car without fear as "Parking Officers don't come round here". We walked into the city and on to the Titanic Experience and back, but it is quite a decent hike if you are not young and fit.
