Really surprised by this hotel. Great location surrounded by lots of local eats and shops, market and train station. Buffet breakfast great way to start day. Inexperiecned staff who didnt spek English but tried really hard to accomodate. Nice rooms and great beds

This is a drab, uninspiring hotel. The check in and check out staff were rude and incompetent (although there was a bell hop chap standing by who was very friendly and helpful). The rooms were dusty and the sheets stank of sweat. The bathrooms have not been renovated since the 70s it seems. The shower water was brown. Avoid. The nearby Crowne Plaza is a much better option. In the breakfast buffet there was a slice of cheese with a bite out of it.

Our tour group stayed in this hotel for our first few nights in China. The hotel itself was lovely with an airy lobby and a great breakfast buffet. Our room, at first glance was not too bad, but could have used a good cleaning. The linens were clean, and the main areas too, but there were some areas such as the wall by the desk that could use a bit of attention. We also ran into a bit of an issue with comfort as it was 28*C in Beijing while we were there and the air conditioning in our room did not work. When the front desk was notified, they sent a fan up with housekeeping right away, but it was still quite warm in our room, even with the window open and the fan running. After contacting the front desk again after our second night they were agreeable to having us change rooms the next afternoon, but we opted to remain in our original room to minimize hassle for our remaining night as we were only in our room basically to sleep. The beds were also a bit of a change for us since they were quite firm, but I understand that is the norm and they were fine once you got used to them (all of the hotels we stayed at had firm beds). The view from our room was relaxing as it looked over a courtyard-like area for the adjacent apartment buildings. We only went to the restaurant for the breakfast buffets, but found the options offered were plentiful and quite tasty. You could also order drinks and snacks in the elevated portion of the lobby area for not bad prices, but we did not try these. I would stay at this hotel again, but would identify and rectify any issues early to ensure my stay was as enjoyable as possible.

We were on a tour so can't comment on price. The rooms were very good, the breakfast a good choice. The train station for the subway is a brisk 5 minute walk. Staff speak a bit of English. Food outlets really handy and the hotel has restaurants also. Comfortable beds.

Hotel is nice, but some rooms need updating. Toilet in my room filled the room with a bad order, so I moved to another room without problem. Breakfast is a fine buffet. KFC nearby for kids. German and Japanese restaurants inside hotel are good. Rates are good for Beijing. Front desk does currency exchange up to $200 a day. Will stay here again.

I could write a long and tedious review about our recent (March 2018) Beijing, China travel experience booked/arranged through SNA Tours, Richmond, BC; but suffice to say that in spite of the MANY negative aspects of this experience from start to finish my wife and are still glad we did it because we 'lucked out' with an excellent tour guide (Forrest) and perfect weather.

I stay at this place December 27, 2017 and what an experience it was. Upon check-in, I had to wait about 50 minutes because they could not find my reservation due to the fact that I booked the stay with points. So I was just standing there doing nothing and waiting while feeling tired. Finally, they did a hack and had me sign a check-in under another customer's name that stayed there previously, but the balance showed $0. Is that even allowed? I did not feel comfortable signing for another customer's stay! Upon entering the room, I realized I could not get on the internet and I had a presentation next day at the nearby university. I called front desk and the response I got was, "we're sorry, it's late so it's hard to move you to another room. Tomorrow we can move you to another room with better reception". Wow! If you are the general manager reading this, I really like a response from you.

Comfortable room, lovely lobby. Comfortable beds and great pillows- slept well. Breakfast had heaps of western options and local cuisine if you are game. We went early and had the restaurant to ourselves.

The hotel lobby looks fancy and extravagant, but one you step in the room the golden image disappears. Rooms are small and slightly old and also not so clean. Most annoying was the air conditioner. The filters were full of dust, so if you are allergic stay away from this hotel. Otherwise the hotel provides a many options for restaurants and bars but very expensive. It is also close to the subway and from here you can easily get to all most important points of the city.

I stayed here because the price is reasonable around the area. The location is next to a subway station, so very convenient. The room is outdated, the towels felt cheap, the toilet broke during my stay, and the bed was not that comfortable. There is a long line to check in and I have to wait a long time for them to find my reservation since I made the reservation from their official app. Would not stay here again next time.
