I've stayed in this hotel now 10 times in the past 4 months. The location is convenient and the hotel is a nice business hotel in good proximity to the subway, universities and the science park. However, While I'm a gold member, I have yet to have seen one room upgrade. Network connectivity via WiFi is spotty at best (2 bars is the standard in most rooms, and my colleagues and I had to switch rooms a few times in our previous visits to get any signal). The last straw was when I was asked this morning to pay extra for a Cappucino at breakfast (which already costs ~120RMB). Honestly, if I weren't already committed to collecting points, and the hotel wasn't conveniently located for my work, I wouldn't be staying here.
Network quality and room to strengthen the hotel clean environment, the staff is very friendly, the hotel has a restaurant, it is suitable for business stay, once again to the area will stay again, very satisfied
commute is good, nearby subway station. room is clean and big enough, service is good. wifi is fast. the response time is prompt and nice. lift has security control which make us feel safe. the meeting room is very big and facility is so good. tea break and lunch taste perfect.
The room was clean and the hotel very convenient with plenty of eating places within 2 minutes walk of the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent position, right next to the Zhichun Lu subway station. The bedroom was beautiful and spacious and white glove clean. The bed so comfortable that I almost wish that we could have taken it home with us. I highly recommend this hotel to all that visit Beijing.
I reserved a room in the hotel for my friend. He comes this afternoon. After the train, we go to hotel with the laggage. at the door, the guardman open it,and help us the laggage to the room.then we register room with my friend's name.
My favorite hotel in Beijing. Have stayed in dozens of hotels in town, but this is the best managed in my view. Many staff have been here for over 10 years and are well-trained to treat guests as "guests". Rooms are always very clean and smell fresh. I highly recommend this hotel for quality and value.
We stayed at the Park Plaza Science Park for 3 nights on our first trip to Beijing. The room was very clean, spacious and well presented. The staff were very courteous and customer service was exceptional. There is a subway across the road, so it was really easy to catch a train into the city. We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to see Beijing.
Another very good hotel in Beijing. Good value and very clean. All round this is a good hotel and the facilities were excellent. My first time to use a gym in China and it was well appointed. A good night's sleep and generally everything to high standards
Second time staying at this property, my first stay was about 4 years ago, and if I can recall correctly not much has changed. The room and decor are bit outdated but considering its price point, I would say it has good value. I booked a room with a king bed, which was confirmed by the front desk staff when I was checking in. Later I found out the bed is actually put together by 2 queen beds with a noticeable gap in between. To be honest, this is not a big deal, but it would've been much better if front desk staffs could give me a heads-up. On the other hand, the room is spacious, although the wifi is just so so, usable but slow from time to time. There are many restaurants nearby: KFC, 7-11 and some street food stands. Most importantly, there a subway station (Zhichunlu) right across street. I'm not so sure whether I want to come back again, but given its price, it would continue to be a good choice.
Overall I'm -again- a little bis disappointed in my stay at the Park Plaza Beijing Hotel, the front desk staff is unorganized and not very smart. I have made several reservations, some were with points plus cash and some were prepaid, my overall stay was 7 nights. I provided the deposit of RMB 3000 and received my access card from August 11 to 18, where a specific paper with the WiFi passport has been added into my door card paper wallet, it did mention that checkout is August 18. Everyday my access card - out of a sudden - did not work and everytime I went to one of the front desk counters, I was asked whether I would be checking out already. Which is rather unprofessional and unorganized as well. I did also sign 5 documents with my specific reservations. Before, as a Concierge Member, they did not even give me a room upgrade and didn't know that the breakfast is included as a Concierge Member Benefit. So I gave up on my 3 years Concierge Member Membership and think that the Gold Membership would be fair enough, also this time I did not receive any upgrade, however, only once I woke up 2 days ago and there was water dropping from the ceiling onto my head and blanket, I got an upgrade to my usual suite. I know it is subject to availability, but through insider information I'm aware that the hotel is not full and not booked out. The front desk is, over the past years, I checked into this hotel several times, rude, unprofessional, doesn't know how to offer a professional service and how to deal with Concierge or Gold Members, as you can see I was writing about such unacceptable behavior before, but I can only write about it on TripAdvisor within a period of three months, I wish I could have been writing about it more often. In the gym there was no water during working out and I went to the telephone at the gym entrance, mentioned that the 3rd floor gym doesn't have water anymore, the ladies transferred my phone several times around and I had to explain it several times. Later they asked me about my room number and whether I asking for a room service. This hotel should not hire idiots that don't understand that a gym is not a room. However, the hotel doesn't have a jacuzzi, no sauna or steam room anymore and it has been removed, those facilities have been replaced to a meeting room. The stay was horrible and no one actually cares about their hotel guests. The only good thing was the restaurants on the 1st and 2nd floor, but the rest all rubbish. Don't stay there, it will destroy your mood and trip to Beijing. Facilities are just so so, the hotel staff dumb and rude, except in the restaurants.
