The location is pretty good, closed to Zhongguancun which is called silicon valley of China. However the hardware of the hotel is pretty old and seems not well maintained. The service is just so so. Club lounge was closed during the weekend but the receptionist didn't tell me that until I asked. The gym is pretty small. The breakfast was OK. The price of the hotel is not expensive but not cheap also. If you want to stay in the area but looking for a better hotel and better service, you can goto the Crowne Plaza which is about one mile away.

Located in a nice neighborhood, amidst a university area, with many restaurants and mini-markets nearby. Easily accessible, and thus a good base for your sightseeing tours plans. The Staff is very courteous and helpful. Rooms are modern and very clean, although size wise they tend to be on the small side. The mini bar fridge carries a good selection of beverages and drinks. Good air conditioning, free (but somewhat slow) wifi, and cable TV which carries some stations in English... Good fitness room. Food alternatives are quite good: a very good Chinese restaurant, an excellent Japanese restaurant, an International café (which serves an excellent breakfast), and a nice pub. To top that, they offer you an ample and comfortable lobby area excellent to relax while having a nice cocktail or glass of wine. The best, however, is the price. VERY affordable rates!! All in all: Great value!

Nice Place to stay in Beijing on Business or visit with Family. Located in a great neighborhood with everything nearby - Walmart, Restaurants, Subway, etc. Courteous and helpful Staff that can help and guide you around town even if you don't know the local language. Truly memorable place and locales.

I’ve been using this hotel for over 12 years now and visit many times each year. Staff are excellent and polite and very helpful. The only very tiny negative I would add is that the Buffet dinner is not quite as varied as it was up until about 2 years ago although it is still excellent with great choice. This is the only hotel I use in Beijing. Looking forward to visiting again in 2 weeks.

I shared a Superior room with a colleague during some meetings in June 2017. Both of us slept fine, but our beds were dated, and the pillows were pretty basic. The airconditioning worked well, the water was hot, and the drains ran quickly. The Internet in our rooms was usable but expect delays and buffering. When we first entered our room it was obvious the service had been started but not completed; housekeeping showed up right away, replaced the bedding, and finished the job professionally. The staff were pretty amazing, from the bell desk to check in/out to the concierge to laundry and housekeeping. Everyone demonstrated a genuine desire to be helpful and to make us happy, not just to do their job right. We never ended up eating at the hotel except for entertaining some colleagues over drinks in the lobby. Everything was good and well-presented, but very pricey. I wanted to add the breakfast buffet to our bookings but couldn't bring myself to do it at half the cost of a room. Fortunately there are some good choices within an easy walk of the hotel doors, including a KFC, a delightful Cafe 85°, a 7-Eleven, and a hole-in-the-wall that specializes in donkey meat (tasted a lot like corned beef). There are a couple of malls within 2-4 miles, or you can rent one of the ubiquitous commuter bikes parked all over Beijing these days (make sure you have WeChat or the bike app). The hotel is also along some bus routes and right next to a subway station.

I checked in at late evening : 12:30 am and I was given a room marked with having two beds but there was a customer. I was asked to check myself and this perhaps is less professional. Eventually the supervisor assured that some one made a mistake and accompanied me to the room. It was alright. But could this be managed better, that someone had checked out was in fact marked that he was still there, and the new one who came in was asked to check for himself ? Could another room with no such marking be provided at late evening when the customer must be regarded to be rather tired. Breakfast was good on variety but again the staff simply failed to ask whether the customer may want tea or coffee. This is rather problematic compared with the nearby Crowne Plaza. Some training is required. Rooms are relatively clean but certainly due for refurbishment : bath tubs are not required but a proper shower would be of great use.

I stayed this hotel more than three times, and overall of this hotel is good and price is reasonable. The breakfast has a lot of different choice, the room is clean, the location is good and just 10 min to metro station. Taxi is easy to find. So I will stay this hotel again for my next Beijing trip.

Good hotel, very good breakfast and 24h open restaurant. The rooms are fine and clean with comfortable bed. The hotel is located close to the science campus so it was really convenient for us for visiting people at universities. The subway is close to the hotel, just 5 minutes walking, so you can visit the tourist attractions easily. This was our third time in this hotel.

I was invited to conference in Beijing and arrived there at 11 am may 4th. I had I Chinese person accompanying me otherwise the checkin was going to be difficult as they barely speak English. The room was a side room with no view. The room was not very clean especially the carpets as worn out. The bathroom was ok. Daily cleaning was fine. The breakfast restaurant in the first floor was fine with a variety of food and especially non Chinese. The second floor Japanese restaurant is very nice. Late checkout is available. It is 45 by car from downtown and the neighborhood is not bad.

We were booked into this hotel as part of a tour group. It was compared to the Doubletree Hilton, which was a bad joke. The entire hotel is dirty and run down, the carpets filthy, the bed lumpy and uncomfortable and the shower with minimal hot water, was located over the bath which was draped with a mouldy nylon shower curtain and directly next to the toilet. The view from our window consisted of air conditioning units and ducting. The hallways had low ceilings and were dimly lit with a rather unpleasant smell. The breakfast buffet was average, as was the coffee. There appeared to be no porters to help with luggage and we rarely saw the doormen either open a door or smile. The staff spoke absolutely minimal English. An unpleasant stay.
