Hotel as such very nice. Room big and spacious with good bed. The breakfast buffet had huge selection of both Chinese and typical western food and the food was great. I also use the fitness and again nothing to complain about. So the only problem was the lack of heating! As I arrived the temperature was 18 degrees C in the room. I thought it was just matter of turning on the air conditioning. But after several hours it was still the same. In the evening I asked in the reception. The receptionist excused and offered to send up an additional blanket for the bed. In addition she advised me to turn off the air conditioner. I didn’t exactly get why the heating was not working. So stayed 4 days and the temperature never went above 19.5 and in the mornings it was down to 15! According to the other participants in the meeting I attended, it was the same issue in their rooms. I hope they have fixed the heating issue as the hotel was otherwise a good experience.
A very good hotel with modern rooms. Breakfast buffet could have been a notch better to match the hotel brand. Very good and fast service also for less usual requests. Overall the room looks fresh and modern
Excellent business hotel with great rooms, excellent swimming pool. Not easy access to more central areas by cab because of traffic but subway is actually a good option. Didn't eat nearby the hotel but there is a shopping hotel next to the property with some options.
Upon arrival, I found that the room appointed to me was extremely outdated. The carpet was old, dirty, and stained. The countertop where the TV was sitting was loose, and looked like it was going to fall apart at any moment. The interior finishes generally appeared old and was in desperate need of updating. If I had known the condition of the rooms, I would never have booked this hotel (the photos shown on the internet did not accurately represent what I actually received). I would have moved my accommodations elsewhere, had I not prepaid. Midway through the trip, temperatures in Beijing dropped significantly. My room became extremely cold, so I tried to turn on the heater. I was told that the rooms are not equipped with heaters. When I asked for a portable room heater, I was then told that they had all been taken by other guests. Towards the end of our stay, I woke up to no hot water. We ran the water for several minutes then called hotel maintenance. Eventually, hot water returned, but still inconvenienced. The guest relations manager did offer apologies and fruit, so points for that; however, if I could re-do, I would have chosen to stay elsewhere.
Stayed for 7 nights in room 2027 executive floor, room was so spacious, bed was a little too hard but no problem .Cleaning was superb, hotel overall very clean and friendly staff, but the staff are very poor in English not many speaking it at all. Lounge in 23:rd floor has a nice food and beverage selection during happy hour (17:30-20:00) and the breakfast they serve there are also nice,,we didnt eat breakfast at the main breakfast buffet on groundfloor,, there was enough choices in the lounge and moore quiet. We also had acces to the lounge at 25:th floor, not hot food there but moore quiet and staff there was very good in English and great drinks and service. Pool was also nice, but the sauna was closed almost everyday during our visit, would have been nice to use it.
This was to be my first hotel experience in China, I was very impressed by the scale and quality of the hotel's public areas. The lobby was very large and imposing yet still felt inviting. Room was on the executive level and was excellent, with all the conveniences you would expect of 5* hotel. Loved the glass walled bathroom which over the course of the next week of travel across China I realised was a speciality of Chinese international hotels, one other thing I've only seen in Chinese international hotels is the array of sockets available for seemingly every plug type from every country...brilliant stuff. Restaurant was great, location was good too. Concierge was excellent, organising a last minute trip to the wall for me at the drop of a hat and at a great price. All in all, a very pleasant experience!
Hotel room was big and nice, which suppose to be a comfortable stay. However, the air conditioning in the room is not turned on. Was told by the staff that aircon is not turn only option is to open the window. (Just wondering if I’m in a hotel or motel) Outside temperature was 20 degrees and was informed by the staff to open the window for better circulation. Asked for a fan and was told it’s all taken up. Which means a lot of guest were feeling stuffy too. I would like to feedback to the hotel that, the hotel suppose to provide a comfortable stay for their guest and aircon is part of it. We must have an option to either turn it on or off. Not for you to tell me open the windows. The pollution in BEIJING is bad and I have sinus. It was a horrible and uncomfortable stay. Hotel management have to look into this issue. Pls do not compromise your guest comfort for cost saving. We pay the room.
Located at best strategic intersections, the hotel has kept its promises. Although suffering high personal turnover, the hotel succeeded miraculously to maintain consistently a friendly attitude towards loyal guests. The club staffs, both managers and interns, are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good both in club and coffee shop. The gym has received latest equipment, superior and of high quality. Only disappointment is that only local tv programs are available on the new gym equipment. The locker room is just under modernization, I hope it will become significantly improved.
I can't fault this place. Very welcoming and accommodating staff, great rooms, and a fabulous breakfast as well. The mall just a five minute walk from the hotel is great as well, offering what seems like an endless choice of restaurants. I've stayed here a couple of times now, and am sure I will be back here on my next trip to Beijing
This big hotel is perfect for business travelers. It has everything you need. Rooms are spacious, clean, with a modern bathroom which I really liked. Iron is provided in the room. The breakfast has a lot of choices, including western and asian dishes. They have several cooks preparing the dishes on your demand. The gym is very spacious, well equipped and a skyline view over the city. The swimming pool is also big and nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back!
