I’ve been in the hotel for 3 night booked by my company. The staff very friendly location is very close to Luton Airport. Restaurant is basic but offer just about u kinda need. I’ve loved the reception and the staff on reception very welcoming and great extra mile. Fully recommend!!
The hotel was 5min taxi away from Luton Airport £10 charge. Check in was quick and the service was good The room was freezing when arrived but was resolved with a portable heater from reception. Didn’t stay for breakfast had a early flight...
Nice clean room, good menu that catered for most tastes, great price & walking distance from terminal. Hotel was clean & tidy. Warm welcome & friendly service. Much better to arrive the night before flying and have a short walk to the airport
I got there for two nights only before our flight home. Though i asked for early check in, no room was waiting for us. when we got at evening back (left luggage there, at least were kind enough to do that) room was very small, the double bed we got was the smallest double bed i saw ever, not sure why or how they call it double bed (and we were told those are the biggest double beds they have). room was very basic, breakfast was simple but OK, though not very rich (well, wasn't expecting much to an hotel near the airport, but still...). lunch was quite expensive for what we took to eat, and service was average. when we did the check out, there were some charges on the bill that we did not recognised, and the explanations we got were very strange and not reliable, but since we were in the hurry to get to the airport, after a while i said ok (10 pounds on the bill that there were no good explanation what the charges were there for). we left with a very bad feeling of been charged without a good cause, but that will not make as richer or poorer. bottom line, i will try to avoid this hotel in the future, that is for sure.
Met family for dinner who were staying at this hotel. Big mistake. First forced to pay £8 to park despite dining with residents. Restaurant is in reception!! Staff (not their fault) untrained. On to food where I ordered rib-eye steak. Certainly not rib-eye and despite requesting medium rare overdone. I understand this is an airport hotel but come on !!!
Great place to stay the night before an early flight and with the 4 day parking deal good value, shame they didn’t have a little more space in the restaurant but we had a good meal. Will certainly stay again when flying from Luton.
We chose this hotel after a day's visit to Bletchley park. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. Our room on the first floor was very compact (like a good Express). We had twin beds, a narrow desk and chair, an easy chair and a wardrobe. When our case was on the rack the door would not open fully. The bathroom had a walk in shower, with soap dispensers on the walls. We ate in the open lobby/bar area in the evening - an excellent pizza served quickly by attentive staff. Breakfast was mediocre. They were not busy when we went in. Some choice of fruit, cereals and yoghurts, but the hot plate was not replenished regularly, and the fried eggs were dry. The coffee machine made excellent coffees, but if it had been busy there would have been a serious hold up there. The breakfast staff were not very evident. In short, impersonal but functional - an airport hotel, not a resort hotel.
Booked this hotel for my partner and myself as it was cheap. Lovely hotel, looks clean, room is tidy and modern. Friendly welcoming staff. We chose to eat in the restaurant in the evening and the food was nice but the price was rather expensive. I would also state that I found parking for guests at £8 a night quite a high rate considering we had chose to stay here. Overall it was a good comfortable overnight stay and we wouldn’t have any hesitation in staying again.
Checked in Sunday PM for a flight the following morning. One receptionist on duty,a lot of people in front of us checking in, great. The room was fine, the bed OK. One bath towel, one hand towel in the bathroom and soap and shampoo dispensers fixed to the wall. It's all pretty basic stuff and more like a real budget hotel. There is nothing budget about the bar prices though. Did not try the food offering. But paid for the car to stay the week.
My partner and I stayed here prior our flight in the early morning. The hotel is immaculate, from the lobby to the rooms themselves. The rooms are very well equipped with all you need including hairdryer. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I wanted a Diet Coke but the fridge had sold out but they got some from the basement which was nice of them. The food in the restaurant is fairly reasonable and came out in good time. No reservations were needed when we were there but posters in the elevator did advise to reserve during peak times (7pm onwards). Might be worth ringing ahead if you’re travelling a fair distance to get there. Al in all, a very enjoyable trip, highly recommended.
