We spent one night here, using the car parking facility for a week, reception staff very helpful and cannot be faulted,we chose to eat at the Holiday Inn further up the road, which was ok but i think next time i would walk up to the airport itself and use their cafe, restraunt. the room was as you would expect from a budget hotel, spotlessly clean great shower Tea and Coffee making facilities and a lovely comfortable bed,my only problem was the smoke detector flashing intermitently very irritating when you are trying to get some sleep so one mark off replace these and we will definately use again.
Check in was straight forward, rooms are basic but very clean , bed was extremely comfortable and shower was excellent. Offers a small selection of meals, which as I’m fussy I couldn’t find something for me (but what we seen of the food it looked really nice) Pizza, pasta, curry. Had a few drinks in bar area. Staff gave us a 10% discount card for the holiday inn just up the road. They have a larger menu so we enjoyed a meal in there. The Ibis is close to the airport but the weather was bad so we caught the shuttle bus for £2.99 each to the airport . Friendly driver and on time, reached the airport after stopping at another hotel first after about 8 minutes. Little walk from drop off . Would definitely use this hotel if we go from Luton again.
Stayed pre holiday and post holiday with family. Muhammad was amazingly helpful and even offered us his parking space in the early hours of our return stay as my husband is disabled and spaces were full. Even managed to get a cup of earl grey to take to bed when tired cold and rain soaked. Lovely comfy room and bed. Would highly recommend . Thank you Muhammad for all your help

I should not have expected too much with budget in the title. However, I was surprised to be asked for £10 as soon as we arrived for the car park. The room was adequate if a little cramped but it was clean. It was difficult to have a shower and stand up straight because of low ceiling due to boxed in section hiding who knows what. The bath also had a poorly repaired hole in it. The nicest surprise was the tea/coffee making facilities.
This is certainly a budget hotel. Good if you only want somewhere to sleep but not good for food or service. Hotel not busy when I stayed but limited menu and food took an hour to arrive as we were told that they could only cook one meal at a time! However, the price was cheap for a sunday. Beware though that this price doubles on a weekday. I paid £85 for a midweek stay. I would not have done this if I had not pre booked before my initial Sunday night stay.
The room itself was okay but small. The bed was comfortable. However the room was stifling and the windows sealed shut. The air conditioning was noisy and like being in a gale even on the lowest setting. I felt like I was suffocating. Once was enough.
Stayed here the night before an early morning flight. About £45 per night for a very basic room, almost monastic, but with comfy bed and TV. It was clean with a good shower. Quite quiet given its proximity to the airport. Continental breakfast wasn't too bad, cereal, toast, limited choice of meat, cheese and condiments. Tea and coffee from a machine. It's a 15 minute walk to the airport, a taxi is £7 and the shuttle bus is £4 both a rip-off unless you are really struggling with lots of luggage and/or children. There's nowhere nearby for tea/coffee or snacks and those available in this hotel are very expensive. The machine tea/coffee is £2.30 per cup which is really naughty for machine coffee. Probably better off taking your own snacks or popping to one of the nearby hotels that have cafes. It's OK for 10-12 hours, I arrived at 8pm and left at 6.45am for my flight but I would prefer a better class hotel. For just a bit more you can get a much better standard hotel with a better breakfast and facilities. Too basic for my liking but if you don't mind basic and budget then there is nothing wrong with this hotel.
If you’re coming down from the skies in the early hours and need a place to crash, look no further than the Ibis budget! We arrived at 01:00am after a late flight back from Dubrovnik, Croatia. After 10 minutes of banging and smashing on the hotel doors and crying out for attention, we were finally met by a pleasant team of young staff who let us in. Ibis’s have a reputation for being small, but to our delight we were given the spacious disabled room at the end of a long, dark corridor. Upon opening the door we were met with the refreshing smell of cucumbers and apples. Room was clean- phew what a relief! Then we lay down on the bed and I don’t really remember the rest because I was very tired from the day of travelling! In the morning I used the shower which worked well and because we were in the disabled room you could sit down whilst you were taking a wash. Room had plenty of amenities and will satisfy your needs. The only criticism would be if you’re a light sleeper beware the planes flying overhead; this is an airport after all! All the best, Spartacus.
We stayed for one night as we had a flight to catch the next day. The room was small, bland and basic with an annoying fire alarm light which kept going on and off during the night. But at £45 a night, it was basic, yes but also clean and comfortable. There is also no bar or restaurant. Best to head to the Marriott Courtyard hotel next door. Reception staff can do with a bit of training. They never told us about the shuttle bus to the terminal when we ordered a taxi to take us there.
