Holiday Inn Express London Luton Airport

Since we had a very early flight we decided to stay overnight at the Holiday Inn Express. The room we had was good value for money and very comfortable. Inside our room it was very clean and the beds were comfy so we had a good sleep. Our stay was pleasant and would highly recommend.

Excellent choice of hotel for our stay before a flight and on return from a late flight arrival.. We chose this hotel as it's the closest to the airport (10 min walk) and for it's cost. The room was adequate for two, everything one requires, including hairdryer, iron and board, plus good quality bed and linen. Double glazed with a/c. Breakfast is included which is a buffet style and includes juices, tea/coffee, pastries/cakes and hot selection including sausages, beans, bacon and scrambled eggs and fresh baps. Plus fresh fruits and cereals. Breakfast starts at 4am. Definitely will stay again. All staff cheerful and an efficient check-in and out.

The hotel was good with helpful staff BUT we were very disappointed to receive a £100 parking fine notice on return home. We arrived late at night and left early in morning so possibly did not see signage but do think this should have been mentioned when checking in (the car park does not have a barrier so not immediately obvious that payment not included in room rate).

I really liked it here. It was comfortable and reasonably priced. Easy access to airport and we booked the inclusive parking. Excellent service with Air parks. The breakfast on the go was excellent, and I'm fussy!

I was blown away by this hotel! Very clean and well designed making the best use of space. Super comfortable beds with a choice of pillows and crisp cotton bedding. There was everything we needed for an overnight stay. The complimentary breakfast was good quality with a great choice. My only negative comment is that we struggled to find the hotel late at night and ended up paying £11 for a short taxi ride. In the morning we were given directions by reception to catch a bus to the car hire area. We struggled to carry our cases down two steep flights of steps to the bus stop only to find that we should have been on the other side of the road, so we crossed the road only to be told by the bus driver that the bus we wanted didn't stop there. We ended up walking to the airport and picking up the bus from there which promptly went past where we had originally been standing!! Despite these problems I would gladly return to this hotel, one of the best of its kind

Stayed one night before a flight. Very close to the airport, about 10 minute walk from the terminal (note: walk is along the side of a busy road, though a tunnel and across a couple of roundabouts...fine if it is dry, but not so good if it is raining, you are hauling luggage and are dressed for sunny weather at your destination!) and quick to check-in when pre-booked. Excellent sound insulation means that even though our room faced an area with small private jets, we could barely hear any engine noise. Breakfast should have been ok, but they looked to be short-staffed on the morning we were there, because there was always something waiting to be filled e.g. coffee machine, OJ dispenser, sausages etc. Would have been a problem for anyone in a bit of a rush. Rooms small, but absolutely fine for an overnight.

We stayed two nights , before and after flights Very convenient with walking distance to the terminal at Luton Early 04:00 AM breakfast was great for us. The room is very clean and comfortable, check-in took less than a minute.

It's been a long time since I visited such a charming young spirited hotel. It starts by being greeted with a smiling staff who are willing to help in any way they can. Truly wonderful people. The rooms are somewhat small (I had a single room) but sufficient. Has all the facilities you need. Bed super compy. English breakfast also very tasty. Coffee in lobby for free throughout the day which is quite a treat. The location of the hotel is also amazing right at the entrance to the mall, in the center of town. I recommend this hotel to anyone passing through or to anyone wanting to get out of Center London. Truly wonderful hotel.

Very close to the airport, friendly service, bar food is good with a varied menu, room comfy & reasonable breakfast which is available from 4 am - great when you have an early flight to catch. Very close to the airport but the glazing means that you do not hear any flights overhead

Within walking distance of the airport and with the main runway almost on top of it, this pre-early flight overnight stop can't be beaten. The rooms were not spacious but big enough; they were clean and all basic amenities provided. The food was wholesome, freshly prepared and the service good. Astonishingly there was no intrusive aircraft noise overnight and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. An overnight stay included a good quality, in plentiful quantities, breakfast which set us up for a short walk to check in for our early flight!
