booked for the Bathurst experience......was allocated a room on level 2 which only gives a direct view out to the Armorall bridge and track not up the Conrod straight ......we had to go and sit outside on the lawn to get a good experience of the race track.so basically used the room for sleeping.......as it is impossible to get a room during Bathurst 1000 and if i had the opportunity to be able to book again i would go for level 3 or higher...........room was great .... the only grizzle was the $70 per head dinner which was rubbish.......cooked breakfast was a good selection.....booking in and out and staff was 1st class considering a full house.....

Great location, fantastic views, very friendly staff and reasonably priced for when we stayed. The rooms were very clean and spacious with a great balcony. Parking was not a problem and the meals were nice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Watching the 2017 Bathurst 1000 race from the balcony of our room at Rydges Mt Panorama was simply the ultimate in luxury. The view of the Bathurst track is superb, and is further enhanced by the trackside big screen opposite the hotel. The Deluxe studio are more like large residential studio apartment and are very spacious with a kitchen, second WC and large spa bathroom. The large balcony offers plenty of space to view the track, or to simply sit with a nice glass of wine and enjoy the magnificent sunsets. The rooms are contemporary in design, and are kept spotless. The large king bed is very comfortable and there is a large sofa bed. The service is simply first class, with the welcoming feel of great country hospitality. The welcoming at reception was fantastic, better than many five star city hotels. The food was first class and the wait staff very attentive. This is simply the best place to watch any race on the mountain, but it is also a great hotel to stay any time of the year. We can't wait for our next visit.

Restaurant stays open till late, hearty selection of food. Rooms are large and well heated. Beds are large and comfortable, has mini kitchen. Great view of Mt Panorama.Reception open all night, has undercover parking. Stay there quite regularly on trips to Bathurst. Good value for money.

We booked a Deluxe Studio for a week. Upon arrival i discovered i made a mistake when booking and thought we had a King size bed and 2 singles. Reading it carefully it says a Kingsize bed or 2 singles. The concierge was great and said he would get the sofa bed made up for us. The room was clean and had a great view of the Bathurst race track. The room had a small balcony with a fantastic view of Mount Panorama. We quickly checked out the hotel to work out where everything was. The restaurants and bars looked good. The laundry was big but needed tokens. To my young daughters horror though the Pool and Heated Spa were closed. A sign on it said closed for winter. My daughter was very upset she loves pools because we don't have one at home. She loves to quickly jump in and then lie in the sun by the side of the pool on a sunbed. We hoped it might open during the week because there was a hot spell coming and it was now Spring. Our stay during the week was good. The beds and pillows are excellent. The food at the restaurant was good but not cheap. Parking was a problem on the Saturday night. We had to park on the road next to the Hotel. Our only Drama occurred on the last afternoon of our stay. We were going to use the $10 vouchers we had for not getting the room cleaned every day. My wife went to the front desk to check what credit we had. To her surprise it was only $20 when it should have been $50. At this time she also asked why the pool wasn't open yet and why it wasn't mentioned on the website that its closed for winter. The concierge slightly rudely said to my wife that if she had read on the 2nd page of the website it did mention that the pool was closed for winter and if my daughter swam in the pool it would be -5 degrees and she would get hypothermia. My wife left it at that slightly offended by the girls attitude. I wasn't happy that we had been short changed $30 so I went to the front desk to get it checked. The girl said she would check it again, while she was doing this I asked her why the pool wasn't open and why she was rude to my wife about it. She then replied with the rehearsed lines she gave my wife. I don't think we were the first to complain about the pool to be closed. I then asked to speak to the Manager she said he was right there next her. He then to my surprise said exactly what she had said. When I pointed out it was now Spring not Winter and we had just had a sunny 27 degree day he replied by saying in Bathurst Spring is still considered to be winter and your daughter would get sick with hypothermia if she swam in the pool.??? We continued to argue the point for many minutes while other guests were waiting. The original concierge then said we were in fact due a $50 credit not the $20 my wife was told? My advice to Rydges is to explain clearly on the front page of the website when the Pool and Heated Spa are open or closed. Train your staff in customer relations including Managers.

A well positioned hotel with excellent views of Mt Panorama racetrack. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Excellent bar and restaurant great food. Definitely a come back to establishment. Only a short travel to Bathurst centre.

Once in a lifetime experience staying 'on the track' at Bathurst. Beds were so comfortable. Unit was roomy and well equipped. It was quiet a walk to the rooms from the carpark though. Staff were very helpful.

Very good hotel, did not try the restaurant food but overall I had a good stay. Gym is very poor though for the size of the hotel, too cold to check the pool so cannot comment on it. Check in / out smooth and staff was very nice and helpful.

This is the best place to stay. The Front desk staff were great. Could not fault the food, services or my room. Breakfast was ok however the staff there need to advise customer how everything works. Would come back and stay again.

Our family of 3 including our teenage son, stayed here about 3 weeks prior to the big car race in October which allowed us some insight into the setup of the annual occasion. We chose a Studio room with a self contained kitchenette and foldaway bed for our son. All rooms have an excellent view of the track and the mountain itself. The room was of a high standard and everything worked as expected. The only complaint would be the so called "complimentary" Wifi. In our room not even the Network name came up on our devices so we were unable to check its level of performance. Fortunately being locals we have ample mobile data available on our phones which saved the day but I wouldn't want to be a visitor from overseas who is dependent on Wifi to assist in their travels. As experienced travellers and reviewers this is a common bug bear of ours and we find as a general rule, the cheaper the accommodation the better the Wifi. Enough said on that matter. Nevertheless we had a very pleasant stay at the Rydges Mt Panorama and would not hesitate to stay again on our next trip to Bathurst.
