We knew nothing about this hotel when we booked, other than it looked nice online and it was very close to a wedding we were attending. We honestly thought it was a fab little hotel. Immaculately clean, bright, a happy place. Our room was a really good size and very comfortable, everything we needed was to hand. Great shower. Really comfortable bed. And the breakfast was really excellent. Every staff member we met was delightful.

Great hotel, in a great condition and with a great location, short walk from cafes and shops. It has an amazing self-serviced bar, where guests can help themselves to drinks, and leave note with their room number to be charged. We didn't eat there so cant comment on the quality and taste of food. Plenty of parking outside, no AC in the hotel. Bit of a shame about the reception staff, which appeared to be quite moody..

Lovely quiet stay at the Bathen House! Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff is friendly and most helpful. We had breakfast here two mornings- sooo tasty and fresh ( must do). We had room #10 the junior suite- and the room was quite large w nice views. The sleep quality was excellent and the location was very handy. The bathroom has a huge soaking tub and shower and everything is spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay here again! Wonderful small hotel.
