Orillia stay

The room was very clean and all necessities were provided as far a shampoo,soap, coffee etc. were provided. Tissues would have been a welcome extra though. The complimentary breakfast was fine and all staff were pleasant and helpful. The town centre was a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Very good value for the money

Property is located close to hwy11, the in room kitchen area was quite large he and the suite was a good size . The hotel is very clean, the complimentary breakfast was fresh.there is a small plaza in walking distance and a grocery stroe next door. Would definitely stay here again

Overnight Stay

Location- perfect for us because it was off the highway making it ideal. Check-In- seamless and quick Staff- friendly, knowledgeable and professional Lobby- inviting, clean Our Room- we were situated at the end of the hallway on the 3rd floor near the stairwell. The room was clean and tidy and spacious enough for the two of us. It looked very inviting and pleasing to the eye upon entering. Beds were comfortable. Downside: A small section of drywall on the ceiling above the window was damaged and hanging. The bottom of the interior entrance/exit door had pieces of wood broken off. The interior of the shower curtain liner needs to either be replaced or requires a really good cleaning to remove the stain. The desk lamp did not work. Time to change the pillows. They were not standard size and were lumpy.

This is a wonderful hotel. The room is large with a comfortable king bed and kitchenette. Walkable to the beach and downtown and only 15 min to the casino. The staff here are super friendly. I would choose Stone Gate again.

Going out of their way for you

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was great, especially Alisha at the front desk. She went out of her way with other staff members who searched for our lost phone after we had already arrived home. When she called back to say she found it, was such a caring gesture! We then drove back to Orillia to retrieve it and to personally thank her. She made our day. This goes to show that there are still very honest people around and this took this review to the highest level. Thanks again Alisha!
