The house was very clean. The house was also nicely decorated in a vintage style that added a nice touch to our visit. Due to the rain, there was one minor issue. The host immediately took care of it and. it did not interfere with our visit or experience. The home was also located near all the sites we were visiting during our short stay.If we are back in this area again, we would definetely consider staying at The Farmwife's Hideaway.

This was a lovely updated ranch. There were four of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. It was five minutes away from our Bourbon Trail visits and restaurants. The owner is delightful and very responsive.

Perfect home away from home! They have paid attention to every detail and it was the best night sleep away from home we’ve ever had. The beds are so comfortable! We enjoyed the air hockey and basketball and really wish we had been able to stay longer.

My husband, son and daughter in law had a wonderful stay at the Farmwife's Hideaway! Great communication, easy check in, perfect location. The home was clean, well stocked with everything needed for a great stay. We were close to the Bourban Trail, Bardstown and everything we wanted to do. The fresh eggs were a very special treat!! We would stay again on our next trip to bourban country!

Loved to location! Yea, it’s on a main Road but the house is well insulated so not an issue sleeping! We walking into town, about 1 mile, and it was not bad. Loved the area! Amy (property owner) was very responsive and helpful! I will stay again if we ever come back! Local distilleries are very accessible to this location!

Bourbon trail weekend

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was just as advertised and the communication from Amy was perfect. We even got to check in a couple hours earlier than scheduled which allowed us to drop off our luggage before heading out to our first distillery tour. The fresh farm eggs, Hershey kisses and mini muffins were a classy touch. And the location was perfect - just a mile from the really cool downtown area and less than a 10 minute drive to the 3 distilleries we toured. Highly recommend this home for your visit to Bardstown.

This was my grandparent's old house....the host, Amy, has kept it up beautifully. We couldn't believe how nice and well kept everything was!! The house had everything you would need, and comfy beds!! We had the best time going down memory lane!

Best introduction to Bardstown

We came into Bardstown to celebrate our friends' marriage and this is literally the perfect spot. Everyone immediately commented on how cute the interior was, there was plenty of parking in the driveway, and the location was super convenient to get to town and all the distilleries that we wanted to hit. The property was clean and well-stocked with fresh spices, cleaning supplies, extra bedding, and even farm-fresh eggs!!! The beds were quite comfortable and there was no shortage of entertainment in every room. The grill was clean and ready to go which made for easy dinners, and the kitchen was stocked to please a small crowd. Overall we had an incredibly easy stay and would absolutely rent here again!!

Dinner Train weekend

This is the perfect home! We were just minutes from all we wanted to do. We toured the town Friday night and Saturday morning. Enjoyed the Dinner Train on Saturday evening. Amy is a fantastic host and the home is very well appointed and comfortable. We will look forward to coming back!
