The distill Inn is advertised as pet friendly. However, it is not so. When I first checked in, I had to sign no less than four different papers because I had two dogs. They have postings up that imply their guest sneak pets in and or later charged a greater amount of money because they did sneak them in. I however told them right up front. I had two dogs and even though I followed their instructions. I was still charged $250 over the cost of the room. These people really are not pet friendly. Furthermore, the air conditioning was incredibly poor. I was told it’s too hot outside in the air conditioner could not keep up..

Found this place by accident and will stay there anytime we are in the area. Super nice and clean. Love the little bar inside for a night cap at the end of the evening. And the staff was amazing.

Very clean hotel and room. Good bed. Good coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here while making several stops at distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. We’ll most definitely stay here again when we come back to Bardstown to do more of the trail. The hotel opened in Oct of 2023, so everything looks and feels new.

Initially I was greeted in a beautiful lobby by a friendly staff member. Checked in and found my way through to my beautiful king room ( no elevator). The whole place is either well maintained or recently remodeled. Everything looks great, smelled fresh, appeared clean. After checking out (was never acknowledged by the staff) began discovering itchy spots all over my body. Bedbug bites! Even found a couple bedbugs in my clothes the next morning. It was a disappointing end to what seemed a very nice stay. Won’t be coming back here.
