The hotel is very close to Camp Nou. Therefore, if you plan to watch a football game it is a good choice. In any other occasion, the money asked for a room is outrageous! Few m2, a bit dusty and used through time. You can hear the neighbours opening and closing their doors as if it is yours! Average breakfast and the worst part is that the restaurant is open only at certain hours during the day!
Nice and clean hotel with a good breakfast. Top floor with partial view of Barcelona and gym&pool(not tempered). A bit smelly corridors. About 10mins to three different subways and bus stop just outside.
Arrived in Barcelona at 7:30am. Ricard told us it was too early to check in so we decided to walk to Camp Nou and there we took the Barcelona Touristic Bus. Checked in by 4:00 and Julia gave us a Room in the 3rd Floor and when we got in it was a king bed. It was a nice view of the street with no balcony. I called the front desk and the gentleman working that shift to check my reservation because I had asked for a double bed but the he put me on hold and then he said "please come down and get your new keys." Did not apologize or anything. So then we go down hauling our luggage (good thing we have hand carry ). What he really should have done is to have someone bring the key up. Then when we started the air conditioner it took awhile to cool off but before that I called the reception and he said to me "just open the window." I said no way. What kind of a comment is that. Still he shouldn't say that. He asked someone to check and then it was fine. Then the next morning I moved the coffee tray only to find a dead cockroach and when I went down. Told the reception desk and asked if they can clean it well. Julia was the one I told to clean the area well. And by the second night my daughter's side of the blanket had a huge stain, it wasn't there the night before. I asked myself why did it happen to us. The bed was ok and the room is not too big. Our view from the room are apartments. Since there were a referendum going on, the whole apartment complex where so loud. They were pounding I believed is a bell so they can make some noise. We thought it was the generator or something. The hotel is great because of the location and it is near the stadium, but if I have any other choice, I will try the other one. Location - great Staff- it's ok needs to be more friendlier and explain what is available in the hotel. Rooms- it's ok Reception - furnitures needs updating -cushion is dirty and old For the amount of money I paid per night I expect more from this hotel chain. Will I recommend this hotel yes but make sure they give you the right room and double check the sheets and the counters.
It is near enough to some lovely bits of Les Corts, and very close to the stadium. The food in the bar was OK. Breakfasts were tasty enough. My room was was clean, with a balcony. There was somewhere nearby playing really loud music, which wasn’t quite to my taste, and was a nuisance, but outside of the control of the hotel.
This hotel is very clean and well maintained. It is situated about a ten minute walk from the NOU Camp stadium, exit left. In addition the subway is a three minute walk, exit right, and the journey downtown is very easy as the ticket machine has Language option, buy two tickets per person for each direction. Hotel food is good but pricey but exit to the right for the tapas bars free WiFi and great beer. After your second Paella :P try some of the other local dishes and you will be pleasantly surprised.
Room had a very bad smell coming from bathroom, made me gag! No other rooms available? Very noisy neighbours with paper thin walls - I could hear every word until 2am. Breakfast table alive with tiny ants! But staff excellent, happy to help and good restaurant recommendations. Would not stay again
If you are going to watch Barcelona play at camp nou this is the perfect hotel. It is only a short walk to stadium. The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable with good toiletries suppliedSome rooms come with balconies overlooking stadium.Staff are extremely friendly and helpfulIt is limited as far as evening meals are concerned but most people probably prefer to eat out anyway.Surprisingly after matches crowds disperse very quickly without much noise.all in all. Great situation and very good value for money
Myself and my partner stayed here for a 4 night stay in September. Pros; - Good connections to sights. We purchased a 10x journey metro ticket which cost us €10 pp which lasted us for the stay. Metro runs until 2am so its fab for exploring. You will only need ZONE 1. - Staff are helpful and patient - Room was cleaned every day, nice large bathroom/shower and balcony. - Rooftop pool and gym were a nice addition. Again, these were very clean. - If you are eating out, id strongly advise to eat at Abanik and Popeyes (within 25 min walk of hotel) - Safe and quiet location. Cons; - check in is at 3pm. Which was unfortunate for us as we had a very awkward flight time. Hotel should consider charging an additional fee for customers who would like to check in earlier (even 12pm) as we would have definitely considered this! -The prices for drinks are inconsistent. One day we paid €12 for two drinks and the next day we were charged €20 for the same two drinks.
I entered the room and it was a really bad odour coming from the bathroom. I opened the windows and the door for it to clear out, and I ran into a cleaning lady. She said there is major pipe damage in that room and the smell won't go away, I should ask for a room change. I go down, explain the situation to the lady in the front desk, ask why if I have NH rewards I get the worse room. Not very polite, she says NH rewards is just a point thing, the cleaning lady is lying and she will re-accommodate me in a smaller room. Clearly a terribly managed properly, as only the cleaning lady apologized for the nasty odour. I wrote an email to NH rewards asking for an explanation, as they claim that NH rewards members "Enjoy the best rooms, free wi-fi, early check-in and late check-out, and express check-in, among many other benefits". Still waiting for their reply. Clearly, not much appreciation for customers and no desire whatsoever to develop any type of loyalty.
We went for a romantic city break. The hotel was welcoming. The reception staff very helpful. The room had a balcony! The room had a lovely wet room with a very powerful and refreshing shower. The 10th floor had a small, cold dipping pool and a bijou yet functional gym. We were a stones throw from the Nou Camp! What's not to like. Tip: the breakfast is 20 euros a head!! We'll be back.
