I really liked this hotel, easy to walk to touristic areas and the City Tour bus. The hotel is very clean , contemporary, fairly quiet and it has a nice breakfast buffet for a charge. Cabs available right outside. Recommended !

So it is sort of like a boutique hotel. I was a little worried as some of the buildings around it had graffiti. Staff was wonderful and helpful. They let us store our bags. Drinks in the bar were very reasonable which shocked me because I am used to hotel drinks being like $25 a glass. They have a continental breakfast in the morning for $11 a person which is reasonable. I definitely would stay here again. It was 1 block from the arc de triomphe and that is also where you can catch the sight seeing red line bus. Hotel was quiet and people were very friendly. Taxi stand right out the door. 100 feet one way was a convenience store and 200 feet in the opposite direction a great pizzeria.
This was one of the best hotels my girlfriend and I have ever stayed at (and we travel often). Everything about the hotel was excellent, from the decor to the breakfast to the lounge/bar. But better than anything (and the reason I’m taking the time to write this review) is the staff. They consistently went above and beyond, and were amazing. I can’t believe what a bargain this hotel is, considering how much it over-delivers. The only downside to staying is that you won’t want to leave. Barcelona is an amazing, creative city and we plan to be back and will definitely be staying at the Motel One again. (The name is misleading, this is definitely NOT a motel... it reminded me more of the W Hotel and certainly not a Motel Six.)

Gorgeous rooftop terrace and lobby with lots of creative seating. Rooms are bare bones, lack real closets, mini fridge, or even ice buckets but you get what you pay for. Overall would stay again, gorgeous hotel.
