The location of the apartment is fantastic and the communication with the host on arrival at the property to gain access was great. The only thing that let this property down was the cleanliness (such as broken toilet seat, stain on the settee, inside kitchen cupboards needed cleaning and curtains shut in windows due to no curtain pole).

The host cancelled our reservation at the last minute, leaving us stranded the morning we disembarked from our cruise ship in Barcelona without any place to stay. It created a most unsatisfactory situation necessitating a last minute stay at a substantially increased price over what we budgeted.

The apartment was not clean. There was blue toilet cleaner running down the toilet seat. The mirror was not clean. There was no clean rags or paper or paper towels . There was a dishwasher but no dishwasher soap. My husband 's towel smelled musty. The toilet seat screw was broken on the toilet so the seat moved all around. When told about it he said hethe former renter did it and he was going to fix it next week. He didn't respond timely if at all to me and told me if anyone asked twe were to say we were family.
