Getting here. Easiest way? Aerobus from the airport then metro to Monumental. Then a 2 minute walk to the hotel. I was greeted by Ana who was very welcoming and spoke perfect English. My room (203) had a street view but I quite liked that. Big plus was the window opened. All room facilities were great. Lovely big bathroom and huge shower. Tea and coffee in room was great. And a lovely little fridge too. Bed was very comfortable but yes some noise at night from neighbours and the street. I would recommend this hotel to visit the whole of Barcelona. Easy access to the metro. Or even walk into the centre. Only downside is the breakfast room. It's not quite big enough to accommodate the amount of guests.
The small hotel is situated on a busy street. Expect to have street noise starting from the early hours. One can also hear the conversations and other noise from the neighboring rooms. Earplugs recommended for the light sleepers. Very close to the 'Monumental' metro station (2 stops to Passeig de Gràcia/Plaça de Catalunya) or 25min by foor to the city center. La Sagrada Família is visible from the corner (Carrer de Sardenya). Very clean (although a bit tiny rooms), everyday housekeeping. After all a good value for money for a touristic city as Barcelona.
Easy access from airport via bus at T1 then Metro to Monumental and 5 min walk to hotel. Situated 4 streets away from Sanrada Familla with many restaurants there. Stayed here previously and put in tiny room but this time Room 107 was clean and spacious with everything required for a short stay. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Free wi if . Breakfast buffet available at 10 Euro but better deals available locally. Nice stay before Cruise and would use again.
It was excellent experience straying at Hotel Sant Antoni. Ideal location as city centre and other tourist attraction are not too far from the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and have good knowledge of the area.
I surprise this hotel has only 3 starts! This hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Sagrada Familia, and very good location. Staff is super helpful and friendly, rooms are clean with an amazing shower and kettle. Bed is comfortable. Daily cleaning. Definitely this will be my hotel next time too.
Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent shower, there is a kettle in the room. The breakfast was excellent. I was disappointed only by the view from the window on the wall. But an excellent price-quality ratio, close to the Sagrada Familia
We spent four days in mid January. As a three star hotel, we got what we paid for. Location is good, very near to Sagrada. Connections with V and H buses is quite good. We had street side room but not too noisy.(there is a school near by). The breakfast was nice (especially I liked mango). The staff is polite and Laura from reception explained us everything in detail.
I've stayed in a lot of hotels in Barcelona, and this was one of the better ones I've enjoyed. It was also one of the cheapest. I'm not sure if I was lucky or not, but the room I stayed in was really large. It was L-shaped with plenty of space, a large sofa, comfortable bed and decent-sized bathroom. It was very modern, well maintained and very clean. As with many Barcelona hotels the air conditioning is turned off during the winter, so the room was a bit stuffy but not as bad as some hotels I've stayed at. The location is perfect. It is one block from Carrer de la Marina, the road which runs from Sagrada Familia to the coast. Sagrada Familia is about 5 minutes away by foot, the beach is about 15-20 minutes. The metro is at the end of the block, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in Eixample and towards Parc de Ciutadella. The staff were all very welcoming although the reception area was quite small so if there is a big group checking in then this is bit of a bottleneck. Only complaint was that perhaps sound proofing wasn't as good as it could be. There were a few bangs from the corridor and the sound of water running in the neighbouring room seemed super loud to me, but it wasn't enough to put me off considering staying again.
The room I had was clean. However a yapping dog in the next room destroyed rest and I had to request a room change. The receptionist was good about it and couldnt understand how a dog had been left in the room. I was given a quieter room on a different floor but remained unsure as to how this situation had arisen and so I feel I couldn't recommend this hotel to others.
fantastic hotel spotlessly clean very comfortable bed and a superb breakfast staff very helpful and friendly would defintely stay again id make it my first choice when staying in barcelona its just around the corner from the bus station aswell
