Worth a visit get a guide it's worth the extra we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit inside and out our guide from trivago was extremely knowledgable and answered many questions he seemed to know everything :)
The staff was excellent and welcoming the breakfast prices and food were very reasonable. But the hotel room it's self was less to be desired. The bed was uneven there was a slant on the right side so I kept having to push my self up to the middle of the bed. The room was pretty small, the walls were paper thin. We could hear the elevator going up and down every time some on entered. We had to kill several silver fishes, the bathtub/shower was not clean. The first night we spent there our house keeper never entered or cleaned the room and our neighbors where rude going in and out of their rooms slamming doors. We didn't get a good nights sleep to say the least. I know guest/neighbors is not really in the control of the hotel but I feel as if the hotel walls were thicker then maybe it wouldn't of kept us up at night . Needless to say we were disappointed sadly . Maybe there are better rooms else where in the facility but the room we got was horrible.
Nice friendly hotel, clean and comfortable. Great location for getting around Barcelona. Walking distance from the Segrada Familia.(5mins) local supermarkets, and bars and restaurants, and Metro witch is great for getting around. Breakfast is continental, and the same every morning. Most rooms have no balcony, this is an extra, and I wish I had payed for it, as the hotel has no pool, only a small sun terrace on the roof. The check in staff spoke English, and were helpful in helping us plan out trips. In Barcelona, not many people speak English. Would got back to this hotel for a weekend break. Good 3*
One of these hotels that I have nothing to say about. It was OK. Bathroom - OK, unless it was quite old and shower worked from time to time, bedroom - OK but they didn't change the sheets. Street outside is pretty busy so take my advice - book rooms with windows directed to the inner yard. It's OK if you stay for one night but I wouldn't recommend stay here for long periods of time.
This hotel has a good location, located in walking distance of the Sagrada Familia. Also in close range of a metro station(350m). Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent! A lot of variated choices, lot's of different bread and fresh fruit. Room was very clean, no complaints. Silent, bed was very good. The only point of complaint we could possibly have is the toilet. In the room we had it was located in the corner of the bathroom, with a wall that wasn't placed exactly perfect... We had to take place on the toilet a little bit sideways, because we had no room in front of the toilet. All in all, great stay in a beautiful city!
This hotel is ok nothing special. Close to the Sagrada Familia Church. Asked to upgrade a room with a view, told all rooms have the same view, the view of buildings across the street. Front desk reception not very friendly, was in a rush to get us away from the desk wasn't helpful in explaining and when asked about the hop on hop off was told we didn't have enough time to do the church tour and bus. I didn't ask her about time asked how it worked and how much etc. Breakfast nothing special, basic scrambled eggs, toast cheese fruit cereal. No pancakes or other egg options. Not much staff in the breakfast area to ask them to replemish the bread and cheese that was empty. Large bathroom, but the rooms need to be upgraded. This hotel fine for a short stay but not for a long one. Not very family friendly at all.
This was a very good hotel, I had no complaints about anything. The hotel is nice and central not far from the Sagrada Familia and a metro stop is close by so you're within easy reach of the rest of Barcelona. Breakfast was standard continental but as it was a buffet you could have as much as you like. Every member of staff I came into contact with was very helpful, I tried to use a few Spanish phrases however they were happy to communicate with me in English which made things a little easier! Rooms were clean and well maintained, there were a few areas which could've been better looking but nothing's perfect. Rooms are air conditioned which made sleeping easier. You have a mini-bar in the room but it's a bit expensive (2€ for a small bottle of water), I'd suggest going to one of the supermarkets (or supermercat) nearby as it's cheaper and you can get more for less. I would stay again and I would recommend to family/friends.
Room was small but clean. Space to store your luggage and a wardrobe. On a side street so quiet. Very good value. Front desk staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of items from breads, meats, cheeses and eggs. More than enough to satisfy.
Stay 12 nights first few days were spent at the Spanish Grand Prix.Hotels in a great spot very close to the Sagrada Familia and the open top bus tours. Only had breakfast one morning as we felt it was not worth the money. Plenty of cafés and bars close by with plenty to offer. Our room was on the 6th floor which was fine but the lifts are very slow takes 40seconds from 6 to 0 I only timed it when we were laughing about it .The room was ok but could do with a face lift very tired and worn. Because most people don't stay long there are no draws in the room. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable .
One minute away from Sagrada Familia and yet in a quiet street, fantastic location. The front of desk staff were super friendly and helpful, and all the staff in general were very friendly. The buffet breakfast was good. The room was quiet and had a decent sized bathroom. The only downside I would mention is that I felt like our room needed a deep clean, or to be renovated.
