Daughter paid for this trip for 2016 Xmas present. Lovely clean hotel perfectly positioned for camp nou and close to metro to get into the city, ate here one night and couldn't fault the food or the lovely waiter, would definitely recommend.
We had 2 rooms on the 4th floor, 5 of us travelling rooms are very small for 3 people in one room no tea or coffee making facilities one night we had no hot water and the following morning had no electricity, it's a basic b&b type of hotel similar to a holiday inn travel lodge type in the uk, staff are very friendly but the rooms are not to a 4* standard, it's far from the city too it does have a metro few minutes walk from the hotel but your not central, we hardly spent any time in the hotel as it felt claustrophobic
Just next to metro station Collblanc line 5 and 9. Most attractions and sights can be reached by public transport within 30 to 60 minutes. Cleaning is adequate. Breakfast buffet is not impressive. The waiting staff at breakfast could use some training in customer service, whereas the reception staff are very helpful and professional. Air condition in room is very hard to control. Will shut down when you leave the room, so you will return to a blazing hot room in the evening. Also sometimes randomly shuts off during night, so you'll wake up early in the morning due to heat. Some noise from the street, but not bad. WiFi is completely useless. No fridge or boiler in the room. Reception and breakfast around the block.
We stayed for 6 days at Madanis hotel recently. We were given the 'executive floor' room which was always tidy provided with a brilliant housekeeping service. As we were very active in Barcelona trying to see as many things as possible, we did not spend much time in the hotel, however there are many touches that made our stay a pleasurable experience. First of all the staff: they were all really nice and helpful, constantly smiling, especially the lady at reception when we checked in. She gave us a map of Barcelona and immediately circled around all the most important and interesting sites to visit which was very nice of her. Staff were all really responsive and first class - spot on. I also work in a 4* hotel in England and I must say that the details in Madanis are most certainly worthy of the 4* it has.
Great hotel with a great location. Stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are nice and cosy. They have everything that you need. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They will tell you what all to visit and how to get there. Breakfast is OK. Nothing out of the world but just basic food. It has a McDonald's right outside and handful of restaurants around. The main airport line metro is just steps. Thanks for the awesome service.
The hotel is friendly from the minute you walk in; smiling faces and helpful staff. I just loved the designers decoration. Amazing. El hotel es calido desde que entrar: caras sonrientes y staff proactivo. Me encantó la decoración de diseño. Fantastico.
Stayed with my wife on our visit to the catalan city. I would suggest this hotel if you are visiting the barcelona stadium as it is just a few meters from the hotel. They had a nice but small breakfast room and also has shops around to get few groceries and i macdonalds i visited very late in the night once
Pretty average hotel, nothing special. Rooms are clean however very noisy - all street noise has been heard. Breakfast - again below average (e.g. no possibility to order special requests like fried eggs). No extra services to classify the hotel as 4-star hotel. And on top of it: I stayed in the hotel during MWC and I could understand prices higher than usual however 10 times higher?- is MWC justify such price - really doubt it's moral and fair to hotel guests. No effort from the hotel to treat such customers who paid this (huge price) at least with some special approach e.g. none complimentary services have been offered. In short: I would not recommended - I am sure you are able much better place for staying in Barcelona.
I've been here for three nights, because I was attending a conference at the UPC. The hotel is very well located, within walking distance of UPC, UB, and UAB, and also very close to one of the stops of the metro L9S line, which goes direct to the airport in 30 minutes. The rooms are ok, and the breakfast is continental, with an adequated variety. The staff is helpful, and no major problems were detected. I also had dinner there one night, and it was splendid.
- I booked a apartment but was very smelly but once I reached to the reception they helped me out by giving 2 room sin the hotel. - A fantastic hotel with friendly people. Will definitely return. - My kids really enjoyed the hospitality given by each as they feel it was like home. - BF is lovely. - Relaxing atmosphere.
