Immaculate Hummingbird Suite - One Mile from Acadia National Park

"Hummingbird Suites" is approximately one mile from the main entrance to Acadia National Park. This is an immaculate, private, one-bedroom suite with hardwood floors. There is a separate sleeping area on a futon with a very comfortable double size mattress in the living room area. If you like flowers or birds you will enjoy our gardens that are frequented by many colorful birds, especially the ruby-throated hummingbird.

Fall Hike trip to Acadia

We traveled to Maine to hike in Acadia National Park and enjoy what Bar Harbor has to offer. Even though we realized we were hitting the end of the fall foliage (while still incredible) and many businesses started to close up for the season, this didn’t stop us from coming! The Hummingbird Suites was perfectly located amongst it all. So cozy, comfortable and accommodating at the end of a full day of exploring and hiking. A home away from home! Kevin also gave some great recommendations for a couple of hikes in Acadia that didn’t disappoint.

Kevin and Donna are amazing hosts who go out of their way to ensure their guests are comfortable and have everything they need for a pleasant stay. Peaceful setting, great location

We loved the peaceful setting away from the crowds of town but still was close to Acadia entrance. Hosts were attentive and unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. FYI, the air conditioner is not central air but is a wall unit in the main room. We left the bedroom door open for some of the cool air at night. Unfortunately, the unit was loud but ear plugs when sleeping took care of that. Probably most of the year a/c won't be needed anyway. Loved the ducks, chicks and geese in the back! They are adorable!

We won’t stay anywhere else for our annual visit to this beautiful area. It’s got all the comforts you need - dishwasher, washer/dryer, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, TV and good WiFi, lovely pretty property, excellent location, and gracious helpful hosts. It was a cute suite. I was under the impression it was a two bedroom and it was only one bedroom. It did work out ok because there was a futon to sleep on. It was close to Acadia National Park and not very far from Bar Harbor. There is a lot of traffic going by day and night. You need to really watch the traffic coming from the right as you face the house. It’s kind of a blind spot

Great Accommodations

This is the perfect place for a couple to stay if they are visiting Bar Harbor or Acadia as both are minutes away. Everything is clean and functional in the apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. It is close to the highway so there is a good deal of traffic and traffic noise but easy to ignore since everything else was perfect. The Kane’s are nice people and live on site.

Hummingbird suite

The property is amazing with chickens, ducks, geese, and hummingbirds. The suite is perfect for a short term stay with a hopeful host and only 4 minutes to the visitor center where you can ride the free connector bus throughout Acadia and several off site areas.

Beautiful suite - Super close to Bar Harbor

The humming bird suite was a few miles away from Bar Harbor and had everything we needed. The property had a beautiful wildflower garden and got to see humming birds everyday. They also had chickens and geese in the property and some fresh eggs to buy. Kevin and Donna were wonderful to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Relaxing Maine week.

The suite had plenty of room for two. It was clean, comfortable and kitchen was well stock with all the necessary tools to cook and you could purchase fresh eggs from the host. Grounds of property were very nice and enjoyed watching the ducks and chickens. Great location to Bar Harbor.

Apartment was just as advertised - great value, outstanding location, very clean, owners responded quickly, well stocked kitchen, very nice bedroom and sitting area, good internet connection.
