Located across from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, our stand-alone cottage is not up the mountain but rather easy-in-and-out and mere minutes away from the center of Banner Elk. Staying here you'll have the best of both worlds...quietly tucked away in your own, stand-along cottage, yet close to all the action.

This is one of the best locations for winter since it essentially eliminates the need for chains and any worry of getting stuck up the mountain. The rest of the year it is simply one of the most central, convenient, and well designed stays you can find. Its a great 4-season spot with truly short drives to top hiking, mountain biking, water sports, and other key attractions. Also just minutes away are the areas best restaurants, wineries, breweries and shopping.
