We stayed at the pool villa 131 on the 4th to 7th November to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Nice place whereby we can chill in the resort. We had a toilet bowl situation on the 2nd night when it did not flush. It could not be repaired on the same night. However the duty manager gave us a key to a suite pool villa to use the toilet and shift to that room if needed. The repairman (3 of them) came the next morning and literally changed the whole toilet bowl. After 2 hours, the repair was done, we decided not to change room as it was a hassle to pack our stuff to shift. Received a note of apology from the duty manager for the inconvenience caused. We understand this is not the staff fault, so apology is accepted. One thing to highlight is the breakfast buffet choices are very limited as compared to your usual breakfast buffet. The staff did not mention to me that you can order from the ala carte menu. Do note one pax is entitled to one food order only. This breakfast issue has thus dropped my rating for this resort which would otherwise have been excellent.

This was our first time stay at the Rama Beach Resort an Villas. We found it to be a hidden gem. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The resort itself is very nice, although a little further from Kuta than we normally would stay. The facilities at the resort are 1st class. The Garden bungalow that we stayed in was excellent, comfy bed with a massive bathroom. The swimming pool and swim up bar is a relaxing place to spend a few hours after a hard days shopping. I highly recommend a stay at the Rama Beach Resort.

The resort is located very near to the Kuta Beach and has many 24*7 stores like Mini Mart just outside the resort. The rooms are very comfortable and the resort is very clean and well-maintained. The pool is nice and the food served is excellent, with large variety of cuisines. The hotel staff were very hospitable and they offered us an upgrade to family room. This is probably the best resort one can find at this reasonable price. Thanks to the management for making our stay much comfortable and memorable.

As I only had two nights in Bali, I wanted to stay near the airport and my sister recommended her favourite resort to me. I received a very warm welcome and was treated like long lost family. I stayed in a beautiful garden villa and made good use of the beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed. I lazed by the lovely pool and enjoyed a massage in the spa. The food was great and the fresh juices were delicious. If you want to shop, dine or get a massage outside the resort, everything is just around the corner...but once in the resort, you feel a million miles from the hustle and bustle outside. The best part of my stay though was the staff. Balinese hospitality is a beautiful thing and no one does it better than the lovely folk at Rama Beach Resort and Villas. I'm coming back to try the pool villa next time! Thank you! :-)

We were so disappointed in our stay at this resort recently. We travel to Bali annually and this has been the most disappointed that we have been with our accommodation. We stayed in a Pool Suite Villa (125) and the first night had trouble with the air conditioning. Maintenance came and cleaned filters. Same problem next night. So hot and stifling. So at 7pm that night we had to leave our room for an hour so they could fix it. Temperature fixed but the unit would switch off and on and every time it turned on was like a jet taking off. Not great throughout the night. The bathroom fixtures are old and need replacing. The water in the shower took ages to drain away. The toilet smelt like sewerage. The pool is not a pool it is an enlarged fish tank. The sun bed is placed on the very edge of the pool. Not cohesive to relaxation. Because we were paying for a pool suite villa we had free mini bar. Two cans of coke and two cans of beer daily. But if you don't drink them they do not get replaced. Although you are paying for it (in the price of a pool suite villa). The amenities you get in the bathroom are cheap and the shampoo is disgusting. We did asked to move but were told that the resort was full. Arriving at breakfast next morning surprised to see that there was no buffet breakfast and when we asked why we were told that the resort had less than 60% capacity??? and buffet breakfast was not offered. The restaurant food is okay but is a little pricey compared with the many options around. On a plus side we think that general staff are awesome. Wolly in the pool bar and Jenni in the restaurant are an asset to this resort. We also made friends with an awesome couple from Melbourne while staying here, who made our stay more enjoyable. All in all we will not be staying here again.

I was introduced to the family at Rama Beach Resort by a friend and whilst I am not really a resort visitor I will definitely be back. The team at Rama are so friendly and welcoming and the service is excellent. The Balinese coffee at breakfast is so nice. Staff can arrange anything you want, and are a very happy crew. Minor oversights were quickly rectified and I was upgraded free of charge to a stunning room! The swim up bar is really nice and there is a gym which is a big plus. Breakfast is a real full wide range breakfast. The locality is not too busy and on the same road as several very nice restaurants. A short drive from the airport, right next to the beach and a short walk to lippo mall and moderate walk to Major shopping centers. This backpacker is hooked! :)

Return stay at Rama Beach Resort, again had a wonderful stay, friendly staff, clean Villa. Love the pool area and swim up bar, spa treatments were wonderful and relaxing. I know you can find cheaper spa treatments but atmosphere and staff great so I don’t mind paying a little more. Bbq night was lovely on the grass and live music and food made an enjoyable night. We also went to cocktail event with demonstrations on fruit carving and numerous other activities. Restaurant food was also good, only criticism was disappointed with al-a-cart breakfast the buffet is much better. Overall a wonderful stay again.

We spent one night here on the way to the Gili Islands and two nights on the way back. The hotel provided a pick up and drop off from the airport which is very helpful, and at check in we were upgraded to a pool villa, which was great! On the last two nights we had a garden view room. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast has a good range on Western foods, as well as delicious local dishes like Nasi Goreng, noodles and fish. For dinner one night we had the traditional Indonesian 4 course 'Be' meal. It was amazing! A generous amount of food for only 225,000 rupiah for both of us. The staff are friendly and helpful, although service at the pool bar can be a little hit and miss - you need to work to get their attention! We would be happy to stay here next time we are in Kuta.

We are currently on our last of 3 days here and have loved every minute of it. Check in was smooth, staff are all so polite and helpful, the bed is amazing. A lot of amenities are offered in pool villa room. Unsure of the other rooms. Having our own private pool was luxury. However there is no sun on the private pool due to the way the roof of the villas are which is a little disappointing but not the end of the world! Outside of the hotel there are plenty of shops, the beach up the road is not so nice. Wouldn’t recommend it, personally. The resort is so peaceful and laid back, a real nice chilled vibe. Food in the hotel is very nice and caters different types of food. We have loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.

As a regular visitor to Rama Beach, on arrival my greeting was "welcome home". The guest service is second to none, very polite, personal, efficient and with a genuine Balinese style. Many of the staff have been at Rama for a long time and they love seeing repeat visitors again. Its like their home also, the staff have so much pride in the hotel making it a very pleasant, peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Cant recommend it highly enough for someone looking for an break.
