We spent our honeymoon week at Prama Sanur and we loved it. Great staff, food and place. The beach and restaurants and bars are great. I can not think of anything that I didnt like. We will come back in the future. 👍😃👍
I am a regular long stay visitor to the Prama, my second home, each year we spend 6 weeks and never go more than 1 km from the hotel, why would we as it has everything you need for a great stay, great restaurants and bars, Mini and Tita at the Bamboo bar take extra care to ensure everything is great, along with all the other staff, happy hour on the beach is fantastic, at the pool you have Oka Santika and Carisima on their in-line skates serving ice cold drinks and food, just brilliant! The Italian restaurant Basillica there is Ayu Ningsih looking after you with wonderful food, Anna Adnyawati the manager looked after our special requests. Dian Margareta Asst. Revenue Manager arranged the perfect room and requests, Breakfast is and experience all itself with a huge variety to choose from and the Egg cooking show ladies flicking eggs in the air and making a real experience of it all. thanks to all the staff and the unsung heroes , the gardeners and cleaners that keep the grounds perfect all the time. Next year will stay a month at a time, special mention to the room cleaners, great job guys and girls. Alan and Hazel Whitehead
The hotel room was ok, although bathroom/shower was quite small Nobody met us outside to take our bags in. Service from staff not great. We arranged and paid for airport transfer which they didn t do. My friend asked where our ride was 10mins after our booked time and the girl giggled and said not on list. A gentleman then made a couple of calls and arranged a bus. He was very efficient. Beach is beautiful and you aren't hassled like in Legian and Kuta which was great
Stayed here for 6 nights. The hotel itself is OK, the breakfast isn't as good as some 3/4 stars I've stayed at but it's manageable. The staff here are so laid back. I was watched while I carried my suitcase up the front steps to check in while they all talked amongst themselves. First night we couldn't sleep due to the noise of A/C ( we had already had maintenance out to look at it during the afternoon) went to desk at 6am to request room change which the guy did for us immediately. Once you step out onto the beach though it's amazing. Great view, no haggling, great restaraunt for alfresco dining. Sunrise was awesome.
The hotel is low (3 stories) and large. It looks like a compound. It took about 3-4 minutes to get to the front desk and 5 minutes to get to breakfast from our room. It is a busy hotel likely because of the beach and its proximity to the airport. There are several dining options just outside the hotel and a few nice shops. There is a supermarket that is about a 10 minute walk. The breakfast offerings are ample, but I must say that the local dishes were not well done. I stuck with the pancakes (which were fluffy and tasty) and the bacon (since I had been at Halal restaurants and craved pork). The setting is also lovely under a giant hut overlooking a courtyard and the beach. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. There is an ATM in the hotel, which is extremely convenient. You can book tours and airport transportation from the hotels concierge and mini travel agent. We booked a tour to Taro Elephant park. One thing that I did not like is that the afternoon tea is allegedly only offered to Premium members. I have never seen that at a hotel before. There are lots of massage options as this seems to be what has put this hotel on the map. The rooms are dated, simple and dingy looking. So are the hallways. It is set up for beach goers so that you don't tredge sand. I didn't care for them and this was probably the least impressive hotel I had been to on my trip. There was also a bit of a strange odour in the room. The hotel does give 2 complimentary 500 ml bottle of water daily. You can also purchase the larger size. There is a mini bar and a fridge. The TV has a few good English TV options and sports channels. The beach has lots of lounging chairs under the shade of trees. You get a card for a beach towel, which you have to remember to return or else you have to pay $45 USD. The sand is extremely well manicured...you can see the rake marks! I personally didn't care for the beach because the water looks rough, but no one on the beach seemed to be complaining.
Look i had high expectations of this hotel considering the price and star rating. it may well have been a 5 star resort 40 years ago when it was built but the room which i was in (819) was far from 5 star, i could see how 40 years ago this would have been a very impressive space but now it seems used and dated , the maintenance seems to have slipped around the pool , which was dirty and had stuff floating in the bottom for the 3 consecutive i was in it . the kitchens exhaust fans are continually pumping out a stinking smell which is pushed around the grounds and especially into the wing we were in. although the grounds were very nice i think there more to a hotel than nice gardens. Im certain we wouldn't stay there again plenty of better hotels around for that price.
Used this hotel as stopover to Lembongan. I had a room next to the hall door that open to the outside of the building and could hear all night people coming and going through the noisy door. The room was really clean and housekeeping awesome. Pool and spa also fantastic with lovely beach seating. I would stay here again but I would ask for a room away from the main exit.
The director Mr.Stefan Mueller, Mrs.Anna Adnyawati the fron office manager all the staff at the Prama Sanur Beach hotel in Bali made our stay at this 5 star plus hotel very enjoyable and pleasant. This was our first stay at this hotel. We stayed in a suite with a bedroom, lounge and a balcony that had views of the ocean, and swimming pool. Since arriving there at the early hours of the morning from Townsville North of Queensland Australia we were most welcomed and the red carpet was laid for us.. The variety and the quality of the food at the many restaurants on site was great. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a great holiday in Bali and if you do please say hello to Stefan and Anna from Aldo and June Schepis. P.S. Don't forget to drink the snaps that Stefan offered us, it was delicious. .
We stayed just one night at Prama Sanur beach as a stop-over on the way back from Lembongan. The staff service, unlike elsewhere in Indonesia was a bit cold and non-personal. The lobby of the hotel was like a train station with throngs of people and suitcases everywhere. The rooms and corridors are very dated but the beach bar and beach/pool area are lovely and I believe this hotel would suit Families and maybe older couples. We ate lunch at the beach bar which was nice but we had to go elsewhere for dinner as the menu is tiny, it really needs more choice. Over-all definitely not our sort of accommodation but would absolutely suit families once they are getting it for a good price.
From your first welcome when stepping out of the car to having the door held open for you each time you enter the main building to a quick check in to a great room with modern features and a good size bathroom I found Prama Hotel had it all. 2 pools, perfect part of Sanur beach, amazing food, cannot fault our stay at all. Yes, this is a large property with multiple buildings and you can sometimes get forgotten about and lost in the crowd but not at Prama every time we passed staff they would stop what they were doing and look you in the eyes with a friendly and genuine greeting, hospitality plus ❤️ Have been travelling to Bali for almost 40 years and this was my first stay at Prama Sanur but won’t be my last. Was very sad to leave after 5 nights, I was so impressed I could stay 5 weeks😍 Thank you so much for topping off the end of another visit to The Island of the Gods, till next time
