Prama Sanur Beach Bali

We stayed at the Prama during the end of May 2018. We found the staff to be excellent, they were polite, friendly and willing to assist without question. The resort was magnificent, beautiful pools, manicured gardens, good selection of restaurants. we had a sea view room which was huge! and as the name implies, it overlooked everything. One small drawback which stopped me awarding 5 stars was the breakfast arrangements. They were charging 195000 rupia each day, per person, for as much as you could eat. Great if you are one of those people who eat until they burst but a rip off if you only have a slice of toast with an egg!! 20 AUD is not so good. We ended up eating next door at the Santrian resort for about half of that cost. There are also any number of small cafes on the main road behind these you get to meet the locals! All in all, a highly recommended place to holiday, we would certainly return.

My first time in Sanur and it was beautiful. On arrival we were upgraded to Club room as Garden view deluxe were under renovations. However we asked for an Ocean view room instead as they are brighter than the club rooms and have a fantastic view! No issues with room. Right next to renovations but we heard no noise at all (perhaps it was painting week) Quiet aircon, huge comfy bed. Kids enjoyed the kids club (4 yo +) which was closed for lunch hour. Fantastic kids pool/slides etc. Breakfast had a massive range. Resort is beachfront and the attached Bamboo bar had great entertainment every night (loved the reggae night). The resort is at the southern end of a 6km coastal path which is great for early morning walks to work off the calories! Resort has great modern gym also and an adult pool that you can do laps in. Shops/restaurants/massage places all available on the main street in close vicinity. Sanur beach is a breezy place which I found refreshing! Only con was that on booking I was promised a 200,000 IDR credit but this was never applied.

Greeted on arrival. Everywhere is air conditioned. It was extremely clean and I didn't find it at all old fashioned as some have stated. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a balcony over looking the lush gardens. There was tea and coffee making facilities and we were provided with 4 bottles of water everyday. The rooms were cleaned every day with a regular change of towels and sheets. Also provided with a clean towel for the beach or pool everyday. We had bed and breakfast. Eating and drinking out is very cheap and the hotel had five restaurants so you didn't need to leave the hotel. The hotel was on the road where all the bars and restaurants were. The best places to eat was the Fire Station, Massimo's ( the ice cream was amazing there with about 50 different flavours to choose from) and a great Japanese restaurant opposite. All the bars had live music every night. There are lots of shops to buy clothes and gifts, open until 10 pm. Be prepared to barter. You can get real bargains. Many places to have a foot or back massage also cheap. The best time to go is May as the rainy season has finished and it is not a busy time for tourists. The people are very happy and polite. Nothing is too much trouble. I would love to go back again.

The hotel is a little outdated but there working on it, and the rooms are getting done the staff are lovely and everyone says hello, service is the best, right on the beach, many places to eat and great for the kids.

For a hotel this kind of extraordinarily expensive, we were desperately disappointed. Breakfast was unprepared at the time it had been started. The staff was poor in smiles and look so unmanaged. We won’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Maybe this place is surviving through ages by its old building and its location nearby the well known sanur beach.

While our stay at the hotel was very comfortable, i did have some issues with the cleanliness of our room and specially bathroom. After i brought it to the notice of the housekeeping staff, they did make an effort to pay extra attention. The hotel is located right by Sanur beach. you can rent cycles and go cycling by the beach. Lots of great restaurants and warungs around. Prama sanur is a huge resort with a lot of facilities such as swimming pool, gym etc but i felt it could do with some polishing as you can make out that it has started to become run down. What is good about this hotel is that when I needed a doctor on call at 4am, they were immediately able to arrange for one. I really appreciated that. They were also flexible to extend my stay on the fly. The breakfast was ok but I would not advise eating at its restaurants. There are much better restaurants around and the one time that we did eat at the restaurant by the beach, the food was awful and definitely not worth the price.

We habe just visited this lovely hotel for a relaxing 3 days after visiting Legian. We booked via Flight Centre who booked us in the beautiful Prama Club which entitled us to a choice of 2 restaurants for breakfast, free afternoon tea and free Cocktails and Canapes between 5-7pm which made our stay very Enjoyable. Staff were very friendly our room was lovely and modern. Private beach with free sun beds. One downside was the main pool green in places and the pool light needed a good clean. Still Worth a visit as it looked like renovations we taking place.

This is our second stay this year and our eighth time at this great hotel. Anna the Front Office Manager and all the staff are wonderful - they do everything to make your stay memorable. We love the hotel, the facilities, the Bamboo Bar, the restaurants, the terrific location - and to say what we always say - this is our home from home, and we are so looking forward to our next stay. Thanks so much to all the staff and especially to Anna.

It's my first time to experience the Nyepi day in Bali... and being fortunate that we can finally find this lovely hotel on that day... the private beach are magical... the darkness at the D day, was blazing as we can clearly stared the stars at the sky... it's so fantastic... speechless experience. The services and the staffs are also great... the pool next to the beach is also cool, and seems well managed by the hotel. Looking forward to experience another Magical Nyepi nights at this hotel.

Nice hotel situated on the beach with relatively big swimming pools and fun attractions for kids. Good and tasty breakfast with variety of choices - western our balinese kitchen. Warm atmosphere and professional and friendly staff. Value for money good. Recommend it - for families or couples.
