I recently stayed at the prama sanur beach resort hotel. We were there for 8 nights and without a doubt received a very warm welcome from the staff on our arrival. The fantastic efforts from the staff continued until our departure and it is a great credit to the resort itself. It has obviously been one of the better hotels in sanur at some time in the past but it does have some lingering trivialities that are clinging to the footprint at this time. The carpet on the 4th floor has seen better days and while clean enough it looks tired and dishevelled. Our room classed as a superior while once again clean and tidy could do with a spruce up to rid it of the older furnishings and fittings. The least appealing of the fixes I could see were in the lagoon pool, a lovely large and inviting pool with a swim to bar and plenty of beds to stretch out on, but beneath the surface of the pool all was not well as there was a large amount of algae and dark matter covering most of the whole area and especially around the steps and vents/lights. There were cracked and dirty tiles around the side pool area and even the plastic drain walk was not clean either. I did see a member of staff scrubbing away at the algae but he was only brushing it back into the pool. It wouldn't be hygienic and needs attention sharp as. Apart from the matters I have raised we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay ,there were plenty of restaurants and bar areas in the resort itself and the staff were amazing at all times. We would stay here again and hope it's little problems are ironed out before our return for xmas
When we checked into this hotel we which we booked many months ago we were told that it was still being occupied by airline staff and wouldn’t be ready until 6pm and to go swim in the pool . Since we had 2 rooms interconnecting I looked into the cost of upgrading into a bigger room which they allowed me to do, they showed me the room ready but said it wasn’t available til after 5 which I thought was bizarre as I could tel it was ok they just needed to put the rollaway beds in ? The carpets in the hallways are droopy and old and in desperate need of an upgrade. The baggage trolley was almost getting bogged in it . Maybe 20 years ago it was 5 star but it really needs. Refurbishment. The Good Nice location on a clean rubbish free beach, which is great for watching the sunrise, the staff were all very polite and the breakfast buffet was plenty full ( don’t drink the coffee though yuk) you can do an abundance of water activities nearby or take a bike for a ride . We used room service a few times and the mie and Nadi gori was delightful. The pizza and ribs at bamboo bar were also very nice. The facilities for younger kids are great with kids club onsite and a big waterslide set up away from the main pool so they can run wild. Would I stay here again, not sure yet depends on the deal at the time I guess...
View is great, with direct beach and sands where your kids can play the sands. Swimming pools also great gor kids. But as 5 stars hotel, food variety for breakfast is very limited and the taste is just so-so. The worst one for breakfast in our first morning there is they only serve one type sausage which is pork, you need to realize that your guest is also indonesian where we can not eat pork as moeslem. For bathroom, we need to ask for toothbrush as it is not there and they didnt fill up the toiletries in the second morning. So, net net you only pay for nice view but dont expect the rest as 5 stars hotel.
We stayed a week with our kids (12, 9 and 2) at this hotel and it worked very well for us. The separate kids pool is actually of a great size, with an extensive paddle area in one end. This means that your kids can splash and play in the water all they want and nobody will get annoyed as there is another huge adult pool next to it. The kids pool also has a water slide and sun shades - perfect! The rooms are a bit tired, but kept very clean so we didn't mind. The pricing is also reasonable, so we could take two garden view rooms without ruining ourselves.
This is one of the oldest 5 star hotel in Sanur and used to be called Aerowisata Hotel back in the 80's. It has had some renovation but to nowadays standards, i recommend to do some improvements on the room interior and bathroom. The hotel facilities are complete and they even have a bank and hair salon which is hard to see in other hotels. Getting to your room can be confusing as there are no direction signage available and the hotel consist of two wings. The food was very disappointing, from breakfast lunch and dinner were all flat. I do however highly recommend their Italian restaurant located on the beach, its a bit expensive but the food is superb.
The yoga retreat I attended choose to accommodate us at Prama Sanur. Rooms are clustered in wings, some of which are two storey. This is a large complex... 7 acres in all. The hotel has shops, banks, a money exchange (although lobby shops take all currencies). The hotel has its own beach front, tasked and attended all day. The pool area is large and well maintained. There its a restaurant, a bar and another cafe/ bar on the beach. All have good and drinks of good quality. Service is happy, friendly and obliging. Reception is more than helpful. Just ask for what you need. At the end of the driveway is Sanur' s main street, shops, cafes, restaurants et al. There are some good eateries here, including Genius (Chef Cynthia Louise). Coming back in you will pass the security gate, manned at all times.
We had 7 days in a small room, tiny bathroom, tiny balcony in the main building above the lobby. Noisy air-con., luke warm "Hot Water"". Not good value for the money spent. Maybe other parts of the hotel offer better rooms........ Excellent breakfast, nice pools. A handy, free, shuttle bus to Hardys shop many times during the day. Small, good restaurants just across the road.
Great pool area and great peaceful position on the beach in sanur. Sanur has some amazing fresh food available and we really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel itself was rather old and dated but the service was 10/10 I would definitely stay again + you get the worlds biggest bed, it’s massive.
I had a fantastic stay at Prama Sanur! I couldn't find anything to complain about. They have big swimming pool, direct access to the beach, and stunning gardens. Additionally, they also have gym with great equipments. The hotel is in a perfect location. They provide free shuttle for you to go and explore Sanur area. The room was clean, the staffs are super friendly and helpful all the time. I'd like to thank a few people; Mr. Yuvens Darung, Ms/Mrs. Anna in Front Office, Mr. Wayan Suarsa, they have made my trip so memorable. Special shout out to Ms./Mrs, Rini in the breakfast area, she made THE BEST omelette!! She always entertain guest with her cooking skills and always put a smile on her face. She is such a gem. Thank you too to the rest of Prama team who did a great work. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
We were there just for a week, but I hope I'll come back for maybe a month. The hotel is very nice, clean and confy. The breakfast selections were great! The staff was very kind and helpful and in general I found the people very very kind and nice. It's was a very relaxing stay, because of the nature and the locals.
