Beautiful villa with small plunge pool. An excellent place to relax after the heat of Bali. Great staff and service. I liked the a la carte breakfast way better than the vast buffet offerings I have had at other Bali hotels. A boutique hotel so not crowded with large numbers of guests.

I would highly recommend his place. I can't comment on the villas, but we stayed in the suites, which are well furnished and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Pool area is fairly small, but we always found enough sun loungers during our stay. I would return here

We stayed here for one night after arriving on a late flight(headed to Gili Air) Upon arrival the staff at the front desk could see we were exhausted and hurried our check in as fast as humanly possible(5min max!) We were then shown to a beautiful suite. We were absolutely blown away by the size and luxury in our room. They reminded us that we would have a transfer at 7:30-8am and encouraged us to be at their restaurant for breakfast at 7am. The following morning we were greeted by the same staff who helped us with our bags and advised we had time to enjoy our breakfast by the pool. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit as a side. Five choices of breakfast, ranging from traditional Indonesian to English/American options. We had a quick look around the resort and marvelled in the beauty of the gardens and individual villas with private pools. All in all Kamuela has exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful night and especially our wedding cake. You have made my husband and I feel very welcome.

Advertised on a accommodation website as free booking, no prepayment, pay at the property and likewise free cancellation until January 2018. Well took one nights worth of accommodation, without notification, and when I cancelled helped themselves to 95% of that money Be very careful with the : favehotel, NEO, Quest, Harper, Aston, Alana, and Kamuela group under the Archiplelago International Group. Sadly one person took it on board, another at the property (AYU) did the complete opposite. Maybe Thailand again for the 4th trip would have been better than the yet to be experienced Bali.

Great staff, friendly and helpful. Our suite was enormous: a spa at the entrance, a king sized bed, a glorious bathroom, longue with a counch and a walk in robe. Free WiFi. Breakfast at the pool, freshly squeezed juices and a good choice of food options. A nice pool, for your free afternoon tea. Lots of shops near by, do take the short cut to the beach from the resort next door. Easy walk to the ATM. A great place to stay.

We arranged after a long flight. Arrived and the staff as always in Bali accommodating and helpful. On our second day, my wife got locked in the bathroom accidentally with a faulty lock Staff fixed in minutes. During breakfast another day we witnessed some rude visitors who complained about the food not being right. Staff sorted straight away. We had no problems with the free breakfast which accommodates fussy young children. Hotel has free wifi which can be used almost any were around the building and fast. Rooms clean and tidy. The villas a must but out of our budget. This hotel has convenience shops across the road open till 11pm Bar across the road has live music also which shuts down around 11.30pm Which means quite at night Very happy coming back

We had a wonderful stay at cosy, warm and friendly kamuela! The staff couldn't do enough to help out. Rooms are very spacious. Meals are fantastic and very inexpensive. The place is small which gives a nice intimate feel to it. We will definitely return!

We were after a quiet place to stay and unwind - Kamuela delivered. The pool villas are well worth the upgrade with outdoor kitchen and lounge area. The outdoor shower was amazing! Nothing like frangapani flowers falling around you and heading the birds sing as you shower. In saying that: villa 7 is located adjacent to the dining area/ plus has minimal sun over the pool. It wasn't as noisy as we expected although we were chasing some sun, so when we stay again we'll choose a different villa. The staff are very respectful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and gardens were kept *immaculately* (even by my fussy standards). Not forgetting complimentary afternoon tea served at your villa poolside, nightly turn down complete with little nice touches like mossie coils in the alfresco and chocs on your pillow making the stay truely special. If you love Japanese it's right next to Mezzanine - Sanur's best. Plus there's an ATM right outside and a 4 min stroll to the beach. I'd love to give this place five stars but the Villa needs a few maintenance touch ups and the breakfasts/ coffee were rather average. Otherwise a hard place to fault. We will be back!

We enjoyed five nights here in a suite which was huge. A little tired around the edges but with a bit of loving care it could be wonderful. All the staff members were great. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay but not really amazing. Coffee was great

Kamuela is well located in the center of Sanur and close to the beach. It is a relative small hotel which makes it extra personal. The rooms are big and complete and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They made a mistake with our reservation but solved it very well. Breakfast is fine and various.
