We stayed here for one night before an early flight. The check in was easy and we were given a welcome drink and a porter to take our bags up. The room was large and very comfortable with a lovely pool view. Nice bathroom although the bath was a little old with some of the surface peeling off. Had dinner by the pool which was all delicious. The breakfast is a buffet with mix of western and Asian.
This is one of the best hotels I stayed in Kuta. Only crappy thing was the AC which didnt cool the room well, but that was quite Ok which gave a decent cooling. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach. The rooms are quite good and the bathroom was very clean. This is one this which is very important for me.
Room is wet, not clean enough. Mosquito is absent. Horrible!!! They even don't provide waste bin in bathroom. There's not enough towels for use (room for two but there are only one big towel for each). The bathroom is also in very low quality - used water can't withdraw away, wet floor from night to morning. Besides, breakfast with only a few dishes and not good at all. I will never come back to this one.
I will start by the fact that BW had messed up my reservation. On arrival of my fiancé and I, they took 30 minutes to process. This appeared to start other problems. We were in room 2203 and this was like being in the center of everything. From being above the restaurant and pool to in the hall where the cleaners stage their stuff. It was beyond noisy. The room also smelled of food in the morning During our second breakfast the staff comes up to my fiancé and I, in front of everyone, and tells us we only have breakfast for one. Wait, my reservation was for two of us. The issue became not about money (that's cheap). It's the principal of messing our reservation up then embarrassing us by discussing in front of other guest. This review could go on for a while, but I'll end with these points. This was my second stay at this hotel and clearly they struck out and missed this time around. Here is hoping BW can improve this facility
First thing i want to tell about the location. its in a crowded location and in the remote place as if the end of the world. This hotel is located on a narrow road, so you can not even imagine to take a walk especially for the bikers.. We stayed here for four days. Only two three eateries nearby the hotel. We reached the hotel at around 1.30 pm and it was very hot. and surprisingly the AC in our room was not working. We had to request them several times to allot us another room. as that was the lunch time we went to the restaurant and to our utter shock the restaurant has no fan leave apart aircon. Somehow we ate our lunch. Probably after 3 hrs of our arrival we were allotted another room where AC was working fine.The receptionists at the lobby or the restaurant and the staff work efficiently and sincerely without a fan in the hot climate of Bali. If it rains you have to go to the room from the lobby wetting completely, if you are lucky can get an umbrella coz they have only 5 umbrellas. And to borrow an umbrella to go out they charge you 100000 (one hundred thousand Indonesian Rupiah) as a security. we are the guests there. We dont understand how this hotel managed to get certificate from tripadvisor. the hotel has a shuttle to drop you in a mall but no pick up from the mall. we did not enjoy staying at this hotel. we wanted a cab to go around but they could not arrange. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Plz do not go by the pictures of the management. only the Deluxe rooms are little good.
Good rooms and hotel facilities... they has to improve house keeping.. but when we called they come promptly .. good facilities and near to daily facility store because we want to buy some daily use thing..so overall good experience and good resort...
Located 10 mins by car from airport DPS, the hotel offers airport transfers. Used the service a few times during my 30 night stay as I had excursions to other islands. Its a lottery if they pick you up, sometimes there, sometimes not. Hotel also offers transfers to Lippo Mall a few times a day. I read somewhere that location was 200M from eateries etc etc- that might be true, if you are a bird. Opposite hotel there are 3 minimarts, which is quite handy. The BW Resort is in dire need of a rewamp, a scrub, some upgrading and training of staff if the 4-star rating should be taken seriously. Plenty of staff, so it should be possible. Frontdesk staff are courteous, helpful and serviceminded. I made a request for a high floor room, but was assigned a groundfloor room in the corner next to restaurant and by the noise from the pool. Not my idea of a relaxing holiday. I actually spend more time inside my room than outside. Room was of good size and very tired. Colouring, furniture & lightning is gloomy and old. And its dirty. sofa and chair covers are oily and dirty. Aircon is too weak to keep room cool as the doors are quirky and you often have an armada of gekkos visiting. Not a problem, if cleaning would just remove their fekal matter on the panels. Big comfy bed, they will not change your linnen unless you ask them too- which is a first time for me. Linnen and towels are dirty and oily, and you need to check for lipstick, skidmarks and dirt before using it- I did mention this to cleaners several times. the appologized and gave you yet another dirty bunch of towels. That is disgusting. I will upload pictures of this, which I am sure tripadvisor will remove- they usually do. Small fridge, tea&coffe which was actually refilled. TV has an impressive selection of channels. Not much storage for clothing. Curtains are dirty. Floor was not washed once during my 30 days stay. Bathroom was disgusting. Toiletbowl had years of urine down its sides, walls dirty, tub surface painted on top of hair from previous guests, huge mirror with no light, doors dirty and greasy. The mere stench from the suiage system (rotten cabbage) made you want to womit. Bought Mr.proper and cleaned it myself- did not remove the stench. Absolutely disgusting. Probably also a healt hazard. Breakfast had a good selection of asian and european choices, pancakes, bread and egg-station. Delicious. Coffee tasted like tar. Plenty of staff however not really serviceminded. Tables and chairs greasy and dirty. Check your cups and glasses- they are not clean. Supposedly open for lunch, I went out sitting a few times for lunch- no one came to serve. Staff was too busy chatting. Had quite a few dinners, portions on the smaller side but VERY tasty and reasonable pricing. Asking for a menu did not nessesarily mean that they would return to take your order. I got a nonrefundable price when booking as they would charge my card immediately- it was not so as I was only charged when checking in. Had I known I would not be staying there for 30 days. For a short stay, or a transit stay between flight would be recommended for this hotel. But not for a holiday. Most staff are very friendly and hospittable and I felt very welcome at this hotel. I was sure this hotel was a 3 star rating, but it is actually a 4 star rating. which makes me regret even more that I choose to spend my hard earned money here. I would rate it 2 in management and standard and 4 in friendliness. Needless to say that I will not be returning .
We reserved 7 nights at this hotel. Our boat was cancelled so we arrived the next day late in the evening. Our room was not ready and they made us wait in the lobby for 45 minutes. When we finally got to our room, we first noticed the awful smell but that was just a beginning. Bathroom was old and dirty, no shower curtain and when I used the toilet is when I noticed a human faeces on the wall next to toilet paper...how can cleaning service missed that is beyond my understanding. Pillows were gross and curtains had stains all over them (I'm not sure what those stains were...food stains or more human faeces...puke) Next day we requested a new room and they gave us another room which was facing a pool (big deal) it was a corner room on a very busy street. At times the noise on the street was so loud with people shouting and bikes passing would wake us up at night. Air-con was very loud. Bathroom was not very clean and had dry piss in the corner and smelled like it as well. We complained to the manager and to the place we booked our stay through and submitted pictures to both and asked for a refund for our fist night or discount but when the booking agency contacted the hotel they acted like they knew nothing about these issues! . This is nothing close to being a resort. Waste of money. We will never come back even if it's free. This place is gross!
My first international trip. We stayed here for 5 day. Near to Airport. Good service, free wifi, clean and nice swimming pool. The size of the room is big. Have pool view rooms. Definitely value for money
That was our first trip to Bali. We stayed here for 4 days. Their hospitality was really awesome. All stuffs behaved politely. Only one thing sometimes make us annoying is AC. But when we complained they just solved it very quickly.
