Quiet hotel with a traditional feeling, very cosy! The personnel is very friendly. Cheap food with vegetarian food on the menu. Maybe it's possible to get vegan food if you ask. The breakfast is simple: cereals, milk, yoghurt, white bread, ham, cheese, sliced fruit, juice, vegetables and fried rice and/or noodles and every day different kind of potatoes and pancakes/waffle. You can also order omelette. You get a new bottle of water (330 ml) per person every morning. If you want more you can buy, 600 ml costs 12k idr. Or you can buy it in stores on the street called Jl. Camplung Tanduk, you also find restaurants there. The pool is nice, cooling but not cold. Also the pool bar is good.

Great service & an excellent breakfast spread. The pool is excellent and the swim up bar is Devine. The rooms at small but functional and cosy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The gardens are well kept as well.

We love this place, the feeling of calmness that decsended on us as we entered the hotel, has not left us. Like the previous reviewer, we too had the good fortune to share in the birthday celebration and were made feel so welcome. The hotel is lovely, very quiet location, although only a few minutes walk from the liveliness of the bars and beach. The pool is lovely, not huge but the hotel is small, and there is the charm, you feel part of the family village, not a faceless guest. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and the interior has been updated, but the exterior is like that of a traditional village house and no common walls so quite private. I think the breakfast is delicious and the pool snacks and restaurant prices are competitive, but with the added bonus of being served by people who know your name...plus the food tastes good. Really I am so pleased that we decided to try this hotel, which is located amongst beautiful gardens

We have been at Bali Agung Village hotel for only four days . Last might the hotel was closed for the birthday celebration of the owner's daughter, her 60th we believe. We were surprised and delighted to be invited along with the 60-70 orso Balinese family members .An extraordinary family celebration of this gracious Balinese family . Beautiful bi-lingual speeches , sensational food , a wonderful Gamelan orchestra and Balinese dancers, and then some great Western music to dance to. We were made so welcome and invited up to share the moment and photos with the guest of honour . Our stay so far has been faultless. Service, food, drinks, the cleanliness , are all outstanding , in a serene and beautiful garden setting. We look forward to the rest of our stay . This is a hideaway, a taste of old Bali , and is quite magnificent . Note: wouldn't suit raucous Aussie surfer-types at all ( and I was one 35 years ago ) . It's more a laid back Raj-influenced setting . Superb .

We have only been here for two days and we are in love with the place. Close to beach and restuarants all within a 10 minute walk. Pool is magic and breakfast more than adequate. Pool is open till late unlike many other resorts. Staff friendly and room compact with good sized fridge Looking foreward to the next 7 days

We stayed at BAV for 5 nights in a Villa, nothing was to much trouble for anyone. The breakfast and meals were delicious, swim up bar is awesome and the drink prices are very reasonable... It was our first time to Bali n they made it very enjoyable. We will be returning in the future😊

This was our first visit to Bali, and our first trip overseas with a toddler. We found the staff at Bali Agung Village absolutely amazing in helping us out with a small child, he was treated like a little prince. Breakfast was delicious every morning, particularly the omelettes from the egg corner, and their version of Bircher. The photos of the gardens do not do them justice, it is certainly a peaceful haven in the heart of Seminyak. The tours we booked through the hotel were great and nothing was too much trouble for our driver. Our deluxe suite was just beautiful, with plenty of room, the anteroom was just great for storage of our bags and other stuff required when traveling with a small child. The room was kept spotless every day by the staff, no small effort when a child is staying. I highly recommend Bali Agung Village, it truly is a little piece of peace.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel, which started with a free pick up from the airport and included an upgrade to a villa. The villa was big and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the pool and the sitting areas. The hotel is very close to the beach and restaurants/bars, yet located in a quiet spot off the main roads. There is some room for improvement with regards to breakfast which was quite bland. But overall I enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again if I return to Seminyak.

Our 1st visit to Bali has been made most enjoyable by staying here. Beautifully maintained traditional style accommodation, friendly staff willing to assist you with everything. Close to beach, shopping & restaurants. Food here is also good. Quiet location is perfect, you can hear the ocean but not the traffic which is great. The garden surrounds are beautiful. The free pickup service from the airport was a nice touch. Private drivers are available & also reasonably priced & they are friendly & knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a smaller quiet location.

Bali Agung Village is nice garden hotel in the Seminyak city. Hotel and poolarea is beatiful and rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast buffet is really good and it varies quite much. Overall really nice place and worth of every penny.
