As a Spire member of IHG I have taken a liking to the Indigo brand and concept as more properties pop up around the world. I was told by one of the Indigo staff in Singapore I must give Bali a try. Not being a fan of the negative image often associated with Bali in the Australian media I had never considered visiting the Island before. I spent six nights at this relatively new property and got so comfortable in this stylish and interesting hotel I hardly felt the need to leave the resort! Great pool and spa facilities, beautiful rooms with attention to detail and so too the lobby and dining areas. The staff are so friendly and polite in the dining and pool areas. I found out later the gentlemen with a French accent that helped me out with a small matter of a missing water bottle was indeed the General Manager Jean Hélière. He took the time to give me a detailed explanation of the design and concept of the hotel before introducing himself! My only suggestion about the staff is that sometimes when not busy some feel they must engage you in polite conversation. It happened on a couple of occasions when I just wanted my own space to enjoy an evening drink or meal. That aside the stay from start to finish was excellent and will probably tempt me to return!

If you are visiting Bali, this is the place to stay. Me and my gf booked a Villa with a private pool (I think all villas have private pool) and it was absolutely worth every dollar. When we arrived the staff took care of our baggage and guided us to the amazing reception area where we got seated with a delicious welcome drink while they registered our passports. With that done the butlers transported us around the hotel area in a buggy to get familiarized before taking us to our Villa. When we entered we where just left speachless. My gf smiled from ear to ear as both the Villa and Pool area is decorated to perfection. The pool is bigger than we thought and the service here is great. + Minibar all included except for alcohol + 3 sets of towels pr. person + pool towels + Beach bags with towels, hats and slippers + Room and pool area cleaned twice pr. day. + Extreme good service from the staff/butlers. They arranged with bean bags for the pool, transportation around the hotel facilities, laundry, floating breakfast, breakfast inside the villa, lunsh at the villa+++++ THEY FIXED EVERYTHING WE ASKED FOR, 24/7 :) + Most staff greeted us with our first name everyday + Due to a late flight the hotel greeted us with a late checkout. - I could not find a shoehorn for my shoes. A BIG thanks to the staff for making the end of our Bali vacation absolutely perfect 😍 One more thing. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and close to Seminyak Square (5-10 minutes taxi and around 3 dollars)

What a wonderful stay we have had at Hotel Indigo. It has been absolutely beautiful in every way. We booked a one bedroom villa and can't say enough how much this exceeded all our expectations. We have been so well looked after. The house had a bigger pool than expected, the staff does everything they can to make the most of it, and goes a long way for everything to be top notch. There is a small taxi ride into Seminyak Square (about 20-40,000 rupiah), a short walk to the beach, great pool in the hotel area and a cool beach club called sugarsand. Those who work at the hotel are welcoming, smiling and pleasant. We check out tomorrow and would like to thank everyone who made our stay here at hotel indigo fun, educational and perfect! Thank you for having us.

I stayed three nights at Indigo Bali last week, and during the stay it was enjoyable in many respects. Indigo Bali’s interior design and its atmosphere were truly Balinese style. Sitting at the lobby itself was very relaxing, the breeze blowing from the ocean was very refreshing. The pool was spacious and it was well maintained. There were plenty of beach chairs, so it wasn’t really hard to find the empty chairs. And the breakfast buffet was okay, even though the selection of food were quite limited, but still it had the quality food to choose from. And coffee was fantastic in every way. Cafe latte, cappuccino, flat white, every coffee I tried were absolutely delicious. Lastly I would like comment on the room. Since my flight was really late at night, I arrived at 1 am . Upon my arrival, Indigo upgraded my room to the suite, but unfortunately the suite room on the first floor was rather disappointing. There was the pond on the first floor and I suppose it must be very hard to get rid of the mold and humidity. But the room was very moldy, and I couldn’t sleep properly because the air was sfuffy with the strong smell of mold. I asked to change the room, and at first Indigo wasn’t willing to change the room ,stating that it was fully booked. Eventually Indigo arranged a new room on higher floor, and its room condition was far better and sunny. So if you can choose the room floor, choose the room on the higher floor. The free shuttle bus to Seminyak downtown was handy, although it only operate till 18:30. So if you want to have dinner outside of the resort, you need to take a taxi. Overall it was enjoyable stay, but lastly I would like to point out the level of housekeeping and cleanliness on the room we stayed on the first day. The toilet wasn’t clean properly (I could see the stain...) and there must have been something on the bed sheet. My mom and I both had some sort of bites on our back. I couldn’t figure it out what it was, but I strongly suspect it was all related to the housekeeping.

My wife, I and my 7 year old son stayed at Hotel Indigo for 8 nights. I really enjoyed my time at Hotel Indigo. The artistic decor of the hotel was beautiful and the hotel is opposite the beach. The grounds are lovely. I would like to make a special mention about the breakfast. Although not the largest range at a buffet I have had, I found the quality was excellent and such wonderful presentation. The staff were very attentive and polite. I could not fault them. My 7 year old son enjoyed swimming in the pools. We enjoyed ordering food near the pool (which was good quality). We also enjoyed going to the pool opposite the beach as well, (SugarSand bar). One of the best dinners we had on holiday was here, in the sunken lounge. The only downside to our stay was that the main pool was scheduled to be closed for ~2 days due to a function. I complained to the manager that I thought it unreasonable to close the main pool to paying guests, many of who have travelled from overseas and with children. (We went in Victorian (Australia) school holidays). However this was not a problem in the end as the pool was subsequently not closed. Overall, I was very happy to stay at Hotel Indigo.

We stayed in Indigo Hotel Seminyak two years ago when it was just open. This time we could check that all the hotel facilties were already oerating and working nicely. especially the beachclub. The premises are modern and beautifully decorated, respecting the neighbourhood lifestyle. Its lavish rooms, gardens and swimming pools seem to be a paraside inside Bali Seminyak. The staff was really friendly and professional. We would like to stand out Ms Ratna, who made us again feel at home at anytime. We enjoyed some delicious food everywhere in the hotel, however as a negative point, we consider that prices are a bit high. Even its wonderful Spa is not good value for money. Undoubtedly we will return for a third stay.

The hotel is located at a quite place through a small street. This hotel is just beside double six. Upon check in, they will serve a towel and refreshment drink, a purple traditional drink that turned to pink when poured with lemon juice. The lobby area is decorated like a gallery presenting Balinese art. Room is decorated showing ethnicity. There are labels to describe each of the ethnic stuff. There is even recipes and ingredients available to prepare local punch.  Our room is upgraded 2 level higher to patio type at ground floor with access to a private adult pool called secret garden pool. It has a small walking closet and shower overlooking garden and pool. Breakfast can be at 2 places: makase, buffet style and sugar sand, a la carte style. Sugar sand is with sea view and sitting by pool side. Sugarsand provides vegan free or gluten free food. I will recommend that you try chocolate banana croissant called cobana at pottery cafe, it tastes so good. Sometimes they have it on breakfast at makase but you need to request it from pastry area. Most rooms are not sea view so you will need to have special request to get it. There are 3 pools in this hotel. Nearby at the walking distance, there is a hype hang-out place by the beach called La Plancha Seminyak. Although it is in seminyak, it takes roughly 10 minutes walk to be at seminyak shops area. Another thing worth to mention is the staff hospitality. And don't forget to try the massage chairs that are available for free.

Poor management, unprofessional service. Privacy of guests is not their first priority. The leaked you personal information of the authority without seeking for your approvable. I would suggest you avoid staying in Hotel Indigo.

Hotel Indigo, words cant describe how stunned i am from this amazing hotel + resort. Me and my daughter traveled to Bali for a girls trip and Hotel Indigo is by far the best hotel due to its amazing pools, the spacious room, the spa treatments and of course the dining rooms! When i checked the photos for Hotel Indigo i was quite scared to be staying here because the pictures on instagram could not capture how luxurious this hotel and resort is! Here are some things i’d recommend fixing. 1. The security of this hotel this hotel has amazing security to ensure the safety of there visitors and staff although when entering the Sugarsand pool there is a little state case for people to come in there is no guard to look through the bags to make sure no one could bring in a dangerous weapon if unsure what steps i’m talking about check the first picture. Other than that please make sure the security is more strict to ensure the safety of their visitors. 2. Staff: The staff working for this amazing hotel and spa are absolutely lovely and do their best to understand what their guests are saying although to make it less stressful and frustrating on the guests i’d recommend having them understand languages a bit better to ensure the smiles on the guests faces. 3. The gardeners: the gardeners do a amazing job of cleaning up the plants and grass although please teach them not to flirt with the guests and when me and my daughter were walking past a group of gardeners they all stared at my 12 year olds butt and made sexual remarks and we felt very uncomfortable during this while they were making grabbing actions. please teach the staff that this is not okay and shouldn’t be tolerated. other than that Hotel Indigo is the place to stay and i recommend it to my family and friends!

I am a huge fan of Indigo and this edition of Indigo definitely does not disappoint me. It exceed any expectation and my kids do not want to leave the resort. The food was great and the staff even more incredible. There are 3 pools in the hotel and our favorite is the Private Pool near the Makase, very quiet pool with some private space for family. The beach area also great, flat beach with clean water and when it come to the evening it is more amazing with a lot of bean bag sets along the sands and with great music. Definitely the place to be,
