Great location, close to the hiway but little noise. Also food is really close. Our room was clean and the staff was very helpful booking an extra night
Noisy AC unit, noise isolation from neighboring units is poor, breakfast choices are awful. Staff are kind and friendly, but only so much they can do to help.
Okay, all the construction going on around the property was not the fault of Wyndham Lost Hills. The road closure was not the fault of Wyndham Lost Hills. The 30-40 minute misdirection from Google Maps was not the fault of Wyndham Lost Hills. So, I guess my experience at Wyndham Lost Hills was not the greatest, but, at least the room felt clean.
They had 22 empty rooms and refused to put a crippled old man on the first floor. I will not stay here ever again
The room was small, but clean. The room I was given had no internet signal and was quite noisy, being in the back, facing the freeway. .When I advised the staff, I was told I could use the internet in the lobby. If I had wanted to do that, I wouldn't have booked a hotel that advertised wifi in the rooms. I was unable to do my work and was not offered a change of rooms. When I checked in, the parking lot was almost empty, so I assume they weren't booked up. I was booked to stay later in the week, but cancelled and stayed elsewhere.
Painless and convenient. Nothing fancy. Breakfast was very skimpy, though.
Stayed here one night in April 2018, found a relatively unbeatable price on the hotel, basic but comfortable accommodations, free included breakfast, and excellent location on a self California to Northern Cal Drive.
First room stinks like old wet garbage, asked for a different room and transferred into a new room next door that smells the same, gonna have a beer and deal with it because I'm not gonna sleep in the pickup
If you don't wish to drive thru to Vegas, or Southern California, Lost hills is just off I-5 and this motel is a clean, comfortable, stop with a number of eateries close by.
The stay was ok for the price. No frills. Had to pull door toward you while inserting key card for it to work properly.
Days Inn Lost Hills was an inexpensive stay in the middle of our trip. There is apparently no competition at that freeway exit. It was inexpensive. The breakfast was meager with beverages, breads, apples, donuts, and cereals. The room was small, as was the bathroom. Towels were thin. The shower rod was attached to the wall where the tile had been, and still is, broken. The card key worked once in 20 tries and was a pain every time we wanted to enter the room. This motel meets minimum code, and probably no more.
Just not nice for the price Motle 6 would have beed much better.
When we arrive this hotel, hotel staff had a very bad attitude. She should't be in the hotel industry. My room was upstairs(hotel seems almost empty), so I asked to change to the downstairs because we had heavy luggage. She said because I made a reservation through internet, she couldn't give me a good room. Besides, she asked me "non smoking" I said "yes", and then she gave me a smoking room. The room smells stinks and has bugs. We couldn't stay that room. Before we left we contancted the hotel manager, he also said because we made a reservation through internet, I didn't have any choice for good non smoking room.!!!! Terrible attitude, dirty room, smells terrible.
Just a place to sleep. Rooms were small. Breakfast was coffe and a donut. Room was over priced.
