Stayed one night and was charged a $3 SURCHARGE (no explanation provided), even though when we booked on phone the week before, there was NO warning of such policy. Several in person complaints to desk staff, but they refused to refund the money, stating that "is in writing on our counter, and you DID read it and check in). Basically, since we arrived in the late afternoon, it was not practical to walk out and search for another motel, not knowing if anything suitable would be found. Further, upon going for the advertised free HOT breakfast the next morning, at 7:30 am, there were no sausages or eggs (both serving containers totally empty), and the line for making hot waffles had TEN people waiting. The room was also full of guests, and NO open tables were available. We abruptly walked out and checked out. The suite itself was satisfactory, but the BAD taste left in our mouths by the unsuitable reactions by the front desk staff totally overwhelms all other considerations, and we will never stay in another Choice Hotel accomodation.
We stayed here as a break point between Yosemite and LA. While the town is nothing special this hotel was clean and safe. Great restaurant within walking distance. Plenty of room in the hotel for our family to move around in. The breakfast was great.
Huge rooms, very good beds and bathroom. Air conditioner worked great. Breakfast area and food quality ver good. Spend one night on our way from San Francisco to Las Vegas. Safe parking and safe area Positively recommended !!
I was a guest at the Comfort Suites in Bakersfield, Ca from late April through Oct 2017. I was there because I worked in the area. The hotel is very comfortable, the room are spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. All of the staff from the front desk to the maintenance workers are very nice, professional and attentive to your needs during your stay. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, a 24 hour fitness is nearby and it is freeway close. I enjoyed my 5 months at the hotel and would definitely choose to stay again should I need to travel back to the area.
This hotel is clean and quiet. The staff is friendly. I didn't eat the breakfast but I'm sure it was decent, Choice Hotel properties usually have consistently good breakfast choices. It's close to shopping and restaurants and is also easy accessable. I would definitely stay here again.
While traveling between Oregon and Arizona we have stayed here 3 times, all on weekends. Price was very good (costs more on business days) and is located well. Restaurants of all types within walking distance. Staff is very good.
This was our second time to stay here and it was just as nice as the first time, except a little more expensive. The room with taxes was $129.06. However, our room was very nice with a comfortable bed and a large screen TV. The room was quiet and had a good location. We ate at the Black Angus across the parking lot again and had a good meal. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and pleasant. Missed breakfast since we left at 5 am. Enjoyed our stay.
We needed a one night stay, so started our search, knowing we wanted to be near Hwy 99. Found this Choice property and decided everything looked good on their website and the price was certainly right. My wife and I had a great stay there. The king room was large with a full-size couch, desk and plenty of closet and other space. The frig was in its own little area with a nice counter above for the coffee maker. Breakfast was typical with waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, etc. The evening front desk clerk was great to deal with and attentive to anything we needed. And there are lots of restaurants in all price ranges within the exact area as well as just a few miles away. We will stay here again without second thought.
We stayed here last weekend. Great location and a very easy drive to the Rabobank Sports and Convention Center. The full hot breakfast was very good and our front desk Hostess, Danielle was just awesome. The first night we ended up with a very noisy neighbor and when I told Danielle she immediately moved us to a different room and apologized for our inconvenience. We had a great dinner at the Black Angus, within walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely stay there again.
Ideal location, right off the 99/58 intersection, with a Costco next door to fill up on gas and other supplies! Area felt safe. Hotel was clean. Staff was professional. Got a good night's sleep on comfortable beds, ate the usual breakfast fare, and moved on.
