Quality Hotel Expo4.0 out of 5.0

The hotel is located a few minutes drive from the Lysaker train station. The room was medium-size, but the beds were quite small. Had a small fridge. Service was excellent, and breakfast was simple but good. One of the walls was dirty and with a hole in it - they can definitely do a better job here. Hotel security was good - need a card for elevators and stairs.
This was a great hotel for a business trip with a large airy reception area and spacious rooms. The breakfast was a good standard and the reception staff were very helpful (even selling bus tickets). However it is a bit out of town for tourists.
The hotel is located close to highway E18. It's across the road from the Telenor Arena. The hotel offers parking garage spaces for 150 NOK per day. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel is of modern style. The rooms are of a good standard. We had a room upgrade and the room had even a small kitchen - pretty cool! The restaurant has a nice selection of courses. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Recommend for both business and private stays.
We reached Oslo after a 6-7 hour journey from Stockholm around 5pm,checked in room no.160 on ground floor. Room is small ,beds are smaller than queen sized. Quilts are really tiny.one has to struggle to cover oneself,as there is raining in Oslo and is quite chilly here. Breakfast spread is good, delicious though, not having a live egg station. We liked breakfast buffet.
Stayed here for one night. The hotel is nice clean and staff is friendly. However I found my room to be super small and beds were also very small. As an American the Nordic style single beds aren't ideal. Other than that the hotel was fine.
I stayed one night at Quality Hotel Expo while attending a conference there. Overall I was happy with my stay, and, as I have previously written in a review, the hotel seemed as a perfect location for a conference. My room was spacious, clean and modern. The bed and pillow was really comfortable, and I slept with the window open without any disturbance. I also appreciated the coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Wi-Fi was fast and reliant. The conference facilities were great – and we used the same “ball room” during the day, as during dinner in the evening (with a great stage for both speeches and entertainment). I only wished the toilets were a bit closer. But here is the deal; the dinner was beyond crappy. Which was very weird considering the great food we got for lunch, breakfast (especially good) and during the breaks. We had delicious pastries, an ice cream machine (genius!), filled croissants, tapas for lunch and fresh fruit. The dinner was some kind of tapas – but it was just so randomly put together and it was just not enough food either. After a small eternity, they also brought out more – but the hot dog bread could arrive ten good minutes before the hotdogs, and then five minutes later the ketchup would make a swift appearance. The dessert was small chocolates, mousses and cakes on a plate. They were tasteful enough. Would still recommend this as a conference hotel!
I have stayed here two times - both times because of concerts at Telenor Arena. This is a business hotel - so it lacks some charm. The decor is nice and very Scandinavian. It's a big and bright hotel that has everything you need. You might have to walk pretty far to get to your room, but I didn't mind the distance. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Waiting area in the lobby is great and offers plenty of sitting space. If you arrive before check-in you can hang out there and help yourself to some coffee and an apple. The staff varies when it comes to being attentive and friendly, but I've never had an issue when staying here. Choice hotels are supposedly vegetarian friendly, and this should also mean the coffee shop (even if it is independent). Wanted to buy some food there, but they only had some yoghurt with granola, and when asked they didn't offer to make me anything even though they have a sign saying you can ask them to make gluten free items on the spot. The breakfast is good . Wish they offered room service for lunch and dinner. Location is perfect if you're there mainly for work or concerts. Bus stop is very close, and transportation from the airport is easy.
Nice and comfortable business hotel - good size and modern fitting. Daily housekeeping. May want to bring shampoo and conditioner if you are not used to using an all in one soap because that is what the hotel provides for. Breakfast is good but similar every day - gets a bit monotonous after a few days - good thing they have a Wayne's cafe within the premise where you can get nice sweet and savoury treats and drinks (coffee and juices). Proper meal options may be limited to the restaurant (also limited choices) unless you head out to the nearest mall (Fornebu S, approx 15min walk away from Quality). Hotel located at the same building with Aker Solution and a mere 3-5min walk to Telenor HQ. Bus stop 50meter from hotel into various locations including Oslo city (Bus 31, around 30min). Discovered a relatively big Kiwi supermarket and pharmacy 5min/across the street from the hotel. From airport, take train to Lysaker and then a short 5min cab ride to Quality Hotel Fornebu.
The hotel is situated in the centre of Telenor area, the rooms are comfortable, restaurant great service, the reception staff are not very attentive, they forgot my wake up call even though when I mentioned it the following morning it was in their log. Reception is set up for conferences and feels impersonal.
Went there for a concert in the Telenor arena (a one minute walk) hotel was amazing, staff were great, the restaurant honestly had one of the best burgers I have ever eaten! The bar is super chill, location is grand for getting to the train station and then into Oslo or to the airport, surrounding area is so beautiful!
